But Bobs was a great pick and actually cared about what you wanted; and not just making a big sale.Our Saleswoman: Sandy gave us time to shop and let us know about any features and such we may be interested in; but wasn’t very pushy and ignorant about it! “Great Road Vintage is a wonderful store to visit with my baby granddaughter. The staff are friendly and helpful. On every visit I see new items that interest me. However, I need to ask my son’s approval before I purchase anything for a house that we co-own. “I am leaving a five star review specifically for the young woman who helped us out today. I looked at her name tag and her name is Susan.. My mother is disabled and hard of hearing and she took up a lot of Susan's time. I tried to explain to my mother that she can't take people away from their tasks. Susan went above and beyond not only for my mother, but for other customers as well.
I don't know why people in upper management feel the need to talk about other employees on the floor.. But I can tell they were busy and rather stressed. There was a woman there who appeared to be the manager and she was annoyed that people were not at their work stations. I want to be very clear... The reason I am leaving a 5 star Review is because Susan was helpful. These kids work very hard. If there's an issue with anybody, it needs to be addressed behind in the office rather than on the floor. I do not tolerate watching any employee be spoken to or about with other employees in front of customers. Management needs to take a lesson. Treat your people well. You have a good employee there who goes above and beyond. Thank you Susan for helping us today.”

“Ordered a “mule chest” from Pompanoosuc Mills. We had It modified from the standard design and had it made of natural finish cherry. The drawer fronts horizontally were made from full width of the chest, boards. This allowed the grain pattern to continue continuously, horizontally across the drawer fronts. A VERY nice detail I have not even seen in Stickley case goods. The inset drawer design had completely uniform gap spacing around the drawers. Most manufacturers don’t even attempt this. Expensive but then if your grandkids inherit it, it’s really not.”

He explained all of the options and all of the sales they had going on to make sure we could make an informed decision. We were not pressured at all and never felt rushed to make the purchase.”

“I bought a Craftsman table saw, but when I got it home, I found multiple parts to be missing from the box. Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled, but upon returning it, the customer service associate Kathy, turned my negative experience into a very positive one. She was kind, patient, understanding and very helpful. She aided me in exchanging my faulty table saw for a brand new one and even inspected the box with me to make sure it had all the required parts. It was much appreciated!”
“To say I was overwhelmed when I walked into the store is an understatement. I told the first gentleman I saw that I needed help with ideas to design my bathroom that we are renovating. So he said he would get someone to assist me. He came back with a cute young lady. I thought to myself, “how is she going to know what I need?” (Like a judgey jerk) ?. I explained what I was doing to Chandra and she walked me all over the store and literally spent 3 hours with me!!!! Her knowledge of the store and its contents would have challenged any “pro” that steps in the door! She was so amazing and helpful. Her ability to see what “works” and what doesn’t was unbelievable. I left buying everything she recommend except my vanity because I am not ready for it yet, but I would have if I was!!! I spoke to the same gentleman I met in the beginning after my purchase and thanked him for introducing me to Chandra. I was so emotional when I left because, well I am emotional anyway, but I felt so relieved and so positive about my purchase and this enormous project I have begun in our home when I walked in the door, I was so stressed and she took that stress away in those three hours and gave me so much advice that I will use going forward with this renovation. So, Chandra, if you see this, please know that I appreciate you and your patience. Let’s face it, IM A LOT!! ?. But I hope everyone from the company sees this as well because you are amazing at what you do! Ok, I’m done. All this emotion from tile and bathroom shopping! Have a great day!!!!”
