Absolutely Disappointed with the management and the customer service from Hertz-Malden.I wanted a convinent vehicle for the weekend and was in a strict time constraints, however due to the management negligence, i end up loosing my time just to fix and exchange my newly rented vehicle. Never renting out at this Hertz location for sure.The issue was low tire pressure which i had to request them to fix, when clearly was flashing in the screen and supposedly nobody bothered to take care of it until i brought up. They did a quick fill up, which lost all its air in about 15 min from leaving the lot. I went back to the location and realized it was closed a little early, with other stranded customers aswell who were coming to pick up their vehicle. Extremely disappointed customers including me. Then had to call road side assistance to get the donut and run to airport location to exchange this vehicle. Please note all this hassle with a newly rented vehicle the first hour.Turns out there was a nail which was causing the leak, they did never bothered to fix the cause, when clearly there was loud leak noise as per the Roadside Assistant. They did a quick job of topping off the air and letting me on the road hoping light will come only after a while and will be my problem then after.I was also not satisfied with the cleanliness of the vehicle, bread crumbs and dirts all over the center console and side of the carpet.Kudoss to Hertz at Logan Airport, being so kind and helping me resolve this issue.I sincerely want to get the management attention to this and take such issue seriously. I am willing to co-operate and will reach out to higher authorities on Monday.

This Hertz always takes forever to get a car. I usually end up waiting over a hour each time I need a rental from here. The service is nice but they need more help at the desks.

Really unclear to me with all the negative reviews of this place. (almost made me re-consider). Overall excellent service, fantastic clean car, and very nice/professional staff. Would and likely will 100% rent from here again

I rented a car from the Malden Hertz office and was very happy with my experience. Although they were busy, I was seen promptly.The manager explained the plate pass but I decided to use my ezpass transponder instead. I used some Scotch tape to hold it on the windshield. I added the car's plate to my ezpass account for the rental dates.Although I had requested a Maxima, that wasn't available but I was very happy with an Acura ilx.He took photos of the condition of the car and emailed them to me before I left.I returned the car and my deposit was credited. I'll rent here again.

I would rent from this specific Hertz anyday of the year! Ricky the manager and the other employees are the best in the Hertz crew anywhere and everywhere. Helped me and help others with kindness and respect! GOD BLESS AMEN.

Very bad customer service it’s worst place to go for rentals you have to wait hours even on phone call they put you on the hold for hour and they hung out without responding

I had a bad experience they are totally irresponsible I rented the car with them to work at Uber the first week it was ok after the second week they started making 2 charges on my account for the same amount 520 dollars that was not enough on the 22nd I still had the car but the day I could return it was Wednesday because on December 22nd they charged me 526 for the car rental so on the 26th I returned the car to them 4 days after the 526 charge the car was returned everything was fine when today I look at my account on the 27th they made another charge 520 dollars out of nowhere this needs to be resolved in court enough

Easily the worst rental experience I've ever had. With a reservation it took 1.5 hours standing in a hallway waiting. Staff inside decided not to work because they were "off the clock," but they just sat around and talked to other staff. They decided to take care of people trying to buy their used cars before renters. WAY understaffed to begin with. When finally inside they said they didn't have my car. My reserved car or any car. I sat at a desk and refused to leave without a car. 20 minutes later they came up with a car, a real junker but it would do. What's pathetic is this is HERTZ. Not Savey Savers Deals on Wheels ... HERTZ! I rent a lot and everywhere else it's a 5 minute operation, max. Here's the punchline, it was one of those airport chaos days. This was a local office in a small suburb. No excuse. The manager, or who appeared to be senior in the group of straight D-students, was extraordinarily rude and clearly hated his life. Steer clear of this place, but you can stick with Hertz. My friends and I still recount how horrific the whole episode was when we gather round and remember that summer.

I had an amazing experience recently with Hertz Car Rental because of the excellent assistance I received from Abdi, one of their customer-focused and informed employees. Abdi welcomed me with a friendly grin and a sincere desire to help as soon as I walked into the rental office. He carefully addressed all of my inquiries, made insightful recommendations, and customized the rental procedure to meet my unique requirements.Throughout the entire exchange, Abdi's professionalism and level of experience were clear. He made sure I fully understood the terms and circumstances by going over the different rental alternatives in detail. In an effort to make sure I had the greatest experience possible, he also went above and beyond by suggesting extras and upgrades that would improve my rental experience.Abdi's ability to establish a personal connection with clients really surprised me. He took the time to learn about my tastes and trip itinerary before recommending the best car for me. Called on a Saturday to extend my car rental. I was told that I had to call the local office where I rented the car from. This was the local office. I guess because it was shortly before 12 noon closing time the person didn't want to deal with it.

Rented a vehicle recently and the inside was nasty. All broken potato chips throughout the seats, a winter hat in the seat pocket in the middle of August, car was shaking on the highway. The response I got from them was why didn’t we call roadside assistance? Car did not break down. We were scheduled to be at a certain place at a certain time we told the staff as soon as we arrived at the car, was shaking on the highway. That is their place to maintain their vehicles. Customer service did absolutely nothing except offer us to come back with a $25 gift certificate for future rental, which we have absolutely no intention on doing. If you want a nice car, go to enterprise or somewhere else. We never had issues with any other car rental company.

Gave me a car that smelled like cigarettes after waiting an hour. It had a quarter tank of gas in it. I filled the tank, returned it on time with 3/4 tank. Now they have charged me 30$ for gas and are unreachable by phone. Don't go here!So it turns out the "gas" charge wasn't for gas, but a membership to plate pass for opening the ezpass while going through the tolls. Also to reach someone at hertz choose the lost and found option. Lastly while the car was still sub par, both the people who helped me were friendly and helpful. Changing my mind to "maybe go here".
