303 Wareham Road, MarionI take my dogs there to get groomed; Cheryl is a miracle worker. I have a Golden and a Husky that are seniors, so it's not as easy for them to stand for long periods of time. She takes her time with them, and they always come home looking years younger and soft like they were as puppies. My cat sees Dr. Francis; she's almost 16, and they treat her like the princess she is. My cat's pretty easygoing, but even the sweetest ones can be stressed out at their visits, especially since it's an ongoing issue with her thyroid. Thank you for taking good care of my fur babies. ❤

829 Mill St, MarionThoughtful, thorough adoption process. Our puppy was exactly as described; happy and healthy. NEBR is entirely run by dedicated volunteers, and all the dogs are fostered in homes. Our puppy was out-of-state and NEBR arranged her to be transported safely and lovingly by personal vehicle (not a bulk transport van/truck).
Because my puppy was out-of-state, my state requires the puppy be quarantined for a few days. Basically, that just meant she had to spend a few days in a local place that offers puppy boarding for observation to ensure she wasn’t visibly ill with kennel cough, etc. (the quarantine facility is a place where families might bring their dogs when they go on vacation, I think they also offer daycare; it’s not a hospital-style quarantine.)
I’ve found NEBR to be very responsive to emails; generally responding by phone call, but also by email. We’ve had many dogs, but this was our first rescue. Overall, a great experience. I’ve stayed in touch with NEBR with puppy updates & photos. They’re great people.
