Awesome beach! Hidden behind Jehu pond and almost no body there. You can take long walks and do long open water swims. There are usually no sharks and no moon jellyfish but this August 2023, we get both but mostly jellyfish and these things stings like crazy. But other than that, it’s a beautiful beach and the water is warm.

The only beach we found after driving around for an hour, which was open to the public paid $12 for parking. Overall it was a great experience.

Amazing beach off the beaten track. If you are looking for some quite pristine beach time away from the Cap Cod traffic... this is you spot! A great natural beach to spend an afternoon with friends and family! Facilities were flooded when we went, but it was to be expected given there was very heavy rain in the morning.Dog-friendliness: Great place to bring a dog for a stroll and a dip in the ocean!

Not easy to get to or find. South cape beach park is only 15 a day to park. Water is warm and there's lots of parking. A real Cape Cod hidden gem. Right across from Martha's vineyard, across the sound. Some good fishing off the beach too. Blues and stripers if your luckyRestrooms: Next to the parking lotDog-friendliness: No dogs due to nesting birds ,after April first

The beginning of April is not the best time to visit the Cape. All the public restrooms are closed. Many restaurants and activities are closed until May. It was chilly and windy, but we made the best of it! Beautiful views. We even saw a nesting bird.

Small beach, but overall good. The state park preserves the beach but also the marshes and some woodland behind it. A few short trails lead through it.

This is a simply outstanding area! It's not just South Cape Beach it's also a gorgeous nature preserve. There are amazing beaches that are not commercialized throughout this area. ?️ ??? It's peaceful, well kept and is a beautiful beaches attached to a nature preserve filled with various Birds. Whether you're interested in watching any of the seabirds or water birds, it's very entertaining. I included watching a bird trying to eat a snake. I truly wish I could have gotten better photos. There are also photos of a large nest and all the babies eating from the mom.As I was walking onto the beach I saw a beautiful little area with shells made by some local children. It was so sweet. It really is a great place to walk around. It's a minimal beachfront & quiet beach too. I could not be happier spending my time here. No matter what I need I have it. There are restrooms, you see lots of different people enjoying the surroundings with lots of fishermen and families apart of this.If you have found my review helpful please give me a thumbs up ? and feel free to follow me for future reviews.

Very nice small beach in the lower cape. There are porta potties and a changing station, and a nice boardwalk to the beach and deck. The sand is nice, but there are sections full of seaweed.

Pristine and uncommercial beach with views of Martha’s Vineyard, surrounded by wildlife refuge and beautiful dunes and beach grass. It is aa relatively unknown beach making it often much quieter than other area beaches. A true hidden gem.

Grew up in the Cape, Still frequent it to this day. This is the best beach in Cape Cod.The sand is beautiful, you can see Martha's Vineyard, there is plenty of walking space and nature trails. Parking is much cheaper than other options (free past 5pm). This is legitimately heaven. All I would say is to bring bug spray, the sand fleas, like everywhere in the Cape, can be bad
