“Great experience from the time we walked in the door to look around. Employees were well versed in all the equipment and really asked questions to assure we were getting the treadmill we needed. No attempts to “up sell” us to something we wouldn’t use or was more than what we needed. Made a few trips back after visiting other fitness equipment stores and never felt like you do when you walk onto a car lot. Staff were always friendly and always made sure to let us know they would be happy to help us. Bought a great treadmill that will fit the varying needs and capabilities of our family. Installation was great too. Timely, polite technicians that got the treadmill put together quickly and showed us a few key important things about the same. Definitely recommend visiting their store as they do seem to know their stuff and are on top of the fitness game!”
“The customer service is unmatchable. I had a gait analysis done and I learned so much about my running pattern and what shoe worked best for me. I’m really looking to try my new shoes out on the road! This store is not like the big chains where you’re just another number. You get personalized care without feeling like you’re being forced into buying something. They actually care about how you’re going to feel running in the shoes they recommend! 10/10 will be back.”

“I think his name is Ron unfortunately I'm terrible at remembering names. Anyway he helped me for over an hour finding me shoes that would fit and not hurt since I have a collapsed ankle. He was extremely knowledgeable patient helpful and kind. He showed me a pair of Brooks running shoes that even he had as well as my orthopedic Dr. I watched him help others as well being extremely attentive to their needs. He helped more than one person at a time. Ron applies immense service and commitment to the store. A couple of weeks later I bought a folding chair that I saw outside and got a new one. The Maynard Outdoor Store has quality items and superb service. The staff that checks you out are extremely helpful patient and kind. I like the atmosphere it's very laid back and rustic.
