I brought my two teen runners in to get shoes for track and we had the absolute best experience and were educated so well through the whole process. From measuring not only one foot but both but also watching them walk to see what shoes would be best. I could go on! I came home knowing that I'll never go anywhere else for running shoes again! The kids were both so happy too.
Bonus points too was that they offered a 10% student discount and right now all of their cold/winter gear was on sale too.”
“This is a family-run sporting goods store that has been around since 1867. I go there to get my tennis racquet re-strung because they are very reasonably priced, they have fast turnaround times, and I enjoy my conversations with them, especially Mike. They are all genuinely friendly. They all made a point of knowing me by name the very first time I entered the store. Bill, the man who often strings my racquets, has been there since 1967. They are very proud of their store and their reputation means a great deal to them. They are always happy to help with recommendations and it is very clear that they care more about making sure their customers are satisfied than making a quick buck. This is the kind of mom and pop store that, all roo too often, unfortunately, has become a relic of the past.”

“Not only is this a one stop shop for all things soccer, on two occasions, I ordered custom printed sweatshirts and they were ready in less than 24 hours. I ordered a last minute birthday gift on a Friday night and the owner told me they would be ready Monday. Then he emailed back and said I can have them done for you tomorrow, saving the birthday! Additionally, we used them to get coaches gifts for the team coaches and the quality of the sweatshirts and tshirts is top notch, meaning they will survive multiple washes!

We didn't get shoes from her this round, but we'll be back to get them from her. I wish the company did bonus structures for the people actually doing the work. “AI was right! When I broke the chain to my Trek dual sport riding up a hill training today for a Marathon midnight ride I was clueless as to where was the best place to get it repaired. AI suggested REI Framingham which just happens to be the closest bike shop to me. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Frank was perfect in every way. He gave me even a few maintenance and riding tips and I love REI’s checklist and local bike groups. As a 71 year old veteran I have seen a lot of bikes shops and mechanics. Hands down REI Framingham is the best bike shop and service I have ever used.”

He was knowledgeable, patient, and really took the time to make sure I found the right fit. His advice and expertise made the whole process easy and enjoyable, and I left feeling confident in my choice. “What a great surprise and what fun! I accompanied a friend to the store who has been visiting since he was a child. I had never heard of the place but went along to keep him company and wow, am I glad I did! The long wall of jeans was worth the trip itself. Every size,shape, description, all on a neatly folded highly manageable wall. The store is full, and I mean, full, of great outdoor clothing of all sizes of shapes and descriptions, including in the women’s section. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The shoe section included every kind of outdoor footwear needed. This place was literally a throwback to my childhood as the floors creaked and groaned a bit underfoot. I’m a grandfather and can’t wait to bring my grandkids to see what it was like shopping before the big box takeover!
