“I was in to have one of my tires swapped out due to a puncture. While the car was in the mechanic checked the front suspension and noticed serious issues with the ball joint and tie rod links. Although they don’t do suspensions work they recommended replacing as soon as possible. My mechanic agreed and said they saved me some serious potential damage. I was greeted by Nicholas and Jonathan who said they were happy to help take a look at my new leaky tires, but they wanted to make sure I didn't want to try taking them back to Walmart where I bought them a month ago. They reminded me the tires probably are under warranty and I could save a bunch of money! So impressed that they were looking out for my wellbeing in this tough economy! “My BMW X3 needed a new headlight nearing the end of November. The X3 was due for inspection and my wife was starting a new job on December first.
Doug and the AER team agreed to replace the light bulb and do a vehicle maintenance inspection on a Friday afternoon— we were new customers.
They replaced the bulb and created a prioritized list of needed repairs before 2 m. The list included pictures of the X3’s components requiring repairs.
The List was well laid out and Doug suggested that we do the work piecemeal as there was a bit of work to do. This was excellent advice and has allowed us to plan and spread out the repairs in December and January!

“I can't recommend Catalano Automotive Repair enough. After another shop tried charging me for unnecessary work on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler, I called Catalano to get a second opinion on a temperature issue, and I'm so glad I did. John was incredibly knowledgeable and diagnosed exactly what was causing the overheating. He was communicative throughout the entire process and made sure I understood everything he was doing to my car.
I brought it to him fairly last minute since I was leaving for a long road trip at the end of the week, and after I explained the situation, John and his team got the car finished in time for my trip. It's been a few months now with zero issues. If I ever have car trouble again, I'll be choosing Catalano 100%”

“I originally went to Pep Boys for a simple headlight bulb replacement, but my experience was disappointing. The employee at the front desk told me it would take a few days without offering much explanation or showing any urgency. Shortly afterward, I saw him outside in the parking lot talking to someone in a car, which didn’t leave a great impression.
I decided to leave and went to Mavis Tire in Dedham on Providence Highway instead, and the difference was night and day. Jaleel was professional, prompt, and extremely courteous from start to finish. He listened to what I needed, helped me quickly, and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process.
If you’re looking for a shop that values your time and treats customers with professionalism and respect, I highly recommend Mavis in Dedham and especially Jaleel. Great experience.”

“Front wheel was making a horrible racket, sounding like metal on metal and getting worse over a few days. Who knows what it was. Paul fit me in the next day. But when I dropped it off, naturally the noise was gone. His mechanic took it on the highway and drove it around - they took the wheel off and looked at the brakes and bearing. Concluded that whatever it was, it had resolved - perhaps a rock or something. Didn’t charge me anything but suggested if it comes back to drop it off immediately and they would check it out.”
