“Met Carmelo and Gus this morning when I took my 23 old truck for an inspection. I have had bad experience at other shops for simple inspections before. Not at Volsar, they were friendly, professional, and honest. I did all the work myself so I know my truck inside out and know nothing is wrong or need fixing. Volsar confirm nothing was needed besides the inspection sticker.
I will start bringing my cars here for mechanic work in the future. It’s hard to find honest and good mechanics.”
“Duff Spring did suspension and driveline restoration on a high-performance custom truck for me, when other shops refused to work on a non-stock vehicle. An unforseen problem arose, and the owner, Frank Duff, did not hesitate to do everything necessary to correct the issue. This speaks highly to their integrity and professionalism. Excellent character and the willingness to do what's right is rarely encountered. This is a first class operation !Services: Transmission”
“The team at Hogan & Van has been taking care of me since I got my license. George, Adam, Amy, Steve & the rest of their team are such a pleasure to deal with. The level of work, care & professionalism is unlike anything I have seen in this industry. I can't Thank You all enough.”

“I highly recommend this shop! Everyone was so nice, especially Sean. I had to do a big repair on my car and he was very empathetic and understanding. I needed a while to make a decision and they let me leave my car there no problem. I will definitely be going back!”
“they are a bit understaffed but super nice. they don’t force you into buying more tires than you need and don’t treat you like you are dumb. 100% will return to get my tires done here they are so much kinder than every other tire place in the area.”
“We’ve been taking our cars to Alewife Automotive for almost 10 years, and I’m consistently impressed with their service and kindness. We’ve had everything done from inspections to tires to repairs. They are transparent and fair, and they never tack on surprise charges. A perfect example of this was I had taken a new car to get inspected with plates to a shop closer to our home, and not only were they kind of rude to me, but they wanted to charge me $20 to put plates on. I called George at Alewife and he said to come on over, they’ll take care of it all no charge. And this is something I’m used to with them—no charges to change out a bulb, top off fluids, etc. As a woman I’ve found that the stereotype is usually true with many shops, trying to get me to buy something I don’t need or up-charge me for something I wasn’t prepared for. It’s worth the slightly longer drive to get here for their service, I don’t know why I ever try to go anywhere else!”
