“Deco(Rodrigo) is a very honest, hardworking man. The type of guy that's hard to come by. It was just yesterday I walked in told my car was making a harsh rattling sound. And today I'm back on road quite as can be. Granted I knew it was timing belt components. But he treated me and my vehicle with much care and transparency. 2010 Honda Odyssey - Touring 153,000 miles”

“We’ve been taking our cars to Alewife Automotive for almost 10 years, and I’m consistently impressed with their service and kindness. We’ve had everything done from inspections to tires to repairs. They are transparent and fair, and they never tack on surprise charges. A perfect example of this was I had taken a new car to get inspected with plates to a shop closer to our home, and not only were they kind of rude to me, but they wanted to charge me $20 to put plates on. I called George at Alewife and he said to come on over, they’ll take care of it all no charge. And this is something I’m used to with them—no charges to change out a bulb, top off fluids, etc. As a woman I’ve found that the stereotype is usually true with many shops, trying to get me to buy something I don’t need or up-charge me for something I wasn’t prepared for. It’s worth the slightly longer drive to get here for their service, I don’t know why I ever try to go anywhere else!”

“My experience was beyond good. My elderly mothers car broke down in the late after noon. We had the car towed there. They fixed it before closing and treated us like family. The price was incredibly reasonable for the work. From this day foward all my family cars are going to jack. Just incredible!!!!”

“Had a dent repaired on the side of my vehicle. Exceptional service, response time, and quality of work. Very professional as well. Very easy transaction and would highly highly recommend!”

“Alexx, you did absolute magic to the car ! It’s been so long since I’ve driven with this much confidence. Very sensitive brakes and acceleration after all 4 brake pads/rotors change and an oil/filter change. I might be overthinking it but the wheel turning also feels lighter hahah. Did you fill my gas too? I don’t remember coming in with a full tank but maybe I have bad memory. Very reasonable price too for the quality of the parts and expertise in explaining things. Thanks so much for your help on the car!”

“Met Carmelo and Gus this morning when I took my 23 old truck for an inspection. I have had bad experience at other shops for simple inspections before. Not at Volsar, they were friendly, professional, and honest. I did all the work myself so I know my truck inside out and know nothing is wrong or need fixing. Volsar confirm nothing was needed besides the inspection sticker. I will start bringing my cars here for mechanic work in the future. It’s hard to find honest and good mechanics.”

“Service was exceptional to say the least. I was able to drop my car and keys off at night safely and was assured of its safety and they had my BMW up and running smoothly the next day with all the lights off. I can say they went above and beyond in many facets because they addressed issues that were covered under warranty without having to try and upsell and overcharge. Well worth the 30 minute drive”

“Unfortunately, my parked Jeep was the victim of a bad hit-and-run, but I am so grateful our tow driver (shout out to Stephen’s Towing!) recommended this shop. From start to finish, the entire process could not have been more painless. The communication was warm, thorough, and truly top-notch. Ultimately, my vehicle was deemed a total loss. Even though the shop had no obligation to help me beyond that point, they went above and beyond anyway; even giving me valuable tips on how to negotiate my insurance settlement. This is a first-class operation, an absolute gem,. 5 stars isn't enough!”

“I had an excellent experience with M E Auto Accessories! They installed power, illuminated running boards and an Auxbeam switch on my 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X, and the results were amazing. The wiring is completely hidden and everything works and looks perfect. I appreciated the prompt communication, detailed estimate, and reasonable prices. They took the time to explain the installation and functions when I picked up my truck, which was a nice touch. Great attention to detail and even more amazing customer service. I can't wait to return for more work soon! Highly recommended! Update: I went back to ME for additional work on my truck and had the same great result. I wish I could give 10/5 stars. This time, Jay installed lighted door handles, rooftop marker lights, a light bar behind the grill, lights in the bumper, a new third brake light, cold air intake, and turbo resonator. The customer service, professionalism, and friendliness at ME is unmatched. I recommend them for all your auto needs and will certainly be back again.”

“I needed an oil pan replacement, oil chance and inspection on my car so I dropped it off here in the morning. Work was done before the end of the day for a very reasonable price, and I think they actually fixed something else wrong with my engine because it was no longer making a strange idling sound when I picked it up. Great experience overall”

“I had a nail in one of the tires on the work vehicle. I am unfortunately obligated by work to take the car to their place to be fixed however I needed air till I get there. A white man with dark blonde hair was so kind and professional about it. He added air to all tires and pointed out to where the nail was. This interaction took place sometime in the winter. I was poorly dressed and exhausted after a medical shift. I asked if I can pay for the air and he refused. I highly recommend the services here.”

“This place is the best! I wouldn't take my car anywhere else! After jumping around from mechanic to mechanic, I found this place a few years ago on a recommendation. Bill is honest and never pushes for any unnecessary work. In fact, if a repair can wait, he tells you. I couldn't be happier with this business!”

“This place saved us right before our wedding, our car broke down the Sunday before our flight to Italy and Koko let us tow the car to his location and kept it for two weeks while we were gone as a huge exception because of our situation. We couldn’t be more grateful and the issue was fixed perfectly when we got back. He even drove it to make sure there were no issues from it sitting for that period of time. Highly recommend!”

“My '49 Willys Overland Jeepster had an overheating problem. Rogers had my radiator fixed and ready to put back in less than 24 hours, allowing me to reassemble, fill and test my antique truck in plenty of time for it to be driven in the Boxford 4th of July Parade. I will recommend them to anybody!”

“Walked in for an inspection, took 20 mins, cost $35, didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I’m getting all my inspections done here from now on.”

“Wow.. thee guys are honest. I had an issue with my exhaust that would have required ordering expensive parts and waiting a while for them to arrive. They suggested I go to another custom muffler shop (Lou's Custom Muffler in N. Reading) for a quicker and cheaper solution. Roadside Truck and Auto certainly earned my trust with this interaction.”

“Service at Colonial Nissan is always very good. They provide reminders of upcoming appointments, explain clearly what work they recommend be done and with what timing, do the work pretty quickly, and it all comes with a friendly smile. I also enjoy the good coffee machine in the waiting area and, when I can't wait, they provide a Lyft/Uber service to take you home and pick you up when your car is ready - super convenient.”

“This is has become my number 1 mechanic shop. I have been there quite a few time recently with my hyundai and they are always super helpful. One of my favorite things about them is they are honest and don't try to upsell you on things you do not need and they have they best prices compared to other mechanics I have reached out to for quotes. Customer for life!!!”

“I made a 9am appointment to have my oil changed (2020 Toyota RAV4). My truck was brought into the garage immediately. I waited in their office that included a television, coffee and great people to talk to. My truck was serviced quickly and efficiently. They are honest, respectful and reasonably priced - including gas ⛽️. Highly recommend and this will now be my go-to for my truck’s maintenance. Thank you so much!”

“We bought a 2019 VW Jetta and could not be more pleased with the service we received from Steve Warren! He took the time to listen to us and what we were looking for, he was very personable and very knowledgeable when it came to the different cars and options we had. I would highly recommend Colonial VW of Medford when you're in the market for a car. Be sure to ask for Steve!”
