“My cat had never been seen here and I suddenly found him extremely ill. Mendon Animal Clinic kindly took me for this emergency within one hour of my call. Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our beloved kitty. The Dr., vet techs and office staff were kind, compassionate , knowledgeable, and polite. Not many veterinarians would take on a non client so willingly for an emergency. This clinic will be my new go to for all of my future pet needs. I will be switching to them immediately for my pups. “We’ve been bringing our dog and cats for years, they really care about the well-being of our pets. The staff was amazingly helpful and supportive when I had to make difficult decisions about end of life care for my geriatric cat, while not once ever making me feel guilty or judged. They are busy, so you just have to plan to schedule your appointments in advance, but they have a website option which makes it easy to do. I love having them as our vet.”

“Uxbridge Animal Hospital, Dr. Cowan was recommended to us by our Vet for our little girls spay, baby teeth removal and microchip. From the moment we walked in the staff was wonderful! Welcoming, kind and caring with clear direction and full explanation of all services that were needed. They also followed up the very next morning to be certain our little girl was doing just fine and there were no problems. They were able to fit him in the same week. All of the staff were very friendly, patient and professional. They treated my horse so well. They were able to figure out what was wrong with him, something that our last vet should not have missed. Their prices are very fair and their clinic is extremely clean and organized. Because we are so far, we had to trailer in, but it was so worth it. I will continue to trailer my horses in and I will never use another vet again. “I have had the absolute pleasure of visiting this hospital regularly for just over a year now. My sweet boy, Hank, was born with a congenital issue that has caused him to need very specific daily treatments and a very invasive surgery to help manage the condition and prolong the quantity and quality of his life. I take Hank’s care VERY seriously, I’m a bit overprotective when it comes to his care. Which is why I am so thrilled that we are able to have the brilliant minds at Tufts FHSA to oversee his care. Dr. Rush and Dr. Freeman have taken such amazing care of my boy and I could not ask for a better team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and front desk staff to care for my baby.I am a huge worrier, so I’m quick to reach out to the team via email whenever issues arise with Hank’s health. Alyssa and Kelsey from the cardiology team in particular are absolute rockstars and always respond very quickly even during their very hectic days!Hank would not be where he is today without these extraordinary brilliant humans. I think they are a little more expensive than most, that said it's been close to a year since I needed the services of a vet.What they could do is to give outside sign a professional paint job. While on the subject, the exam room needs some attention also. All in all..they are all well versed professionals.”

“I can't say enough great things about Pawsteps & the amazing staff. My nephews cat was very sick, & spent 2 days trying to find a vet who would take new patients AND get her in quickly. Pawsteps was the ONLY vet that cared enough to get us RIGHT IN, within the hour, where she was so tenderly treated. Sadly, our lil fur baby had to cross the Rainbow Bridge, & I couldn't have asked for kinder, more patient, & accommodating people! They let me take as much time as I needed, to say goodbye, & gave us time to choose what we wanted for her final resting place. I know it's not our favorite thing to think about, when our pets are sick, but finances are just a part of owning/caring for a pet, so I also want to add that I was absolutely SHOCKED, & very relieved, when I saw the final bill. I thought I would've been paying twice that amount, & it STILL would've been worth it, but it was definitely an unexpected surprise. These people are WONDERFUL, so I really hope you'll give them a shot!”

“This review isn’t meant to talk down the first doctor but to share and shine the light on the second one. In April 2023, we put down our cat of 16 years. We brought her in, went into the room, went over how things will be and had some time before they took her in the back. In summery, she was brought back sedated and was given the medication while being on the table.Today we brought our second cat in, of 5 years, who was also being euthanized. We went in, the tech girl as kind, supportive and informative. She respected our wishes. She gave us time and came back in to take her, but this is where the light shine comes in. After we thought it would be, her coming back in sedated, no, the tech and doctor came in and not only gave us the choice for more time, she brought her back in completely herself. She wasn’t sedated it. My partner and I cried with the chance to see her return herself, given additional opportunity to say goodbye. Once we were ready, the doctor was informative and gave me the option to hold her or lay her down. Our cat was in our arms when she was given the sedative AND the other medication to put her asleep.Again this isn’t meant to talk down one doctor, it’s to share our experience today. I don’t want to share names as I’m not sure if it’s appropriate, but my doctor today, TRULY allowed us the time to say goodbye comfortably for our cat and us. It was as peaceful and warm as it could be. If I could drop everything and 100% take my pets to the doctor today, I would. The experiences were day and night, and I’m truly so fulfilled on how our doctor helped us say goodbye today. And although I don’t want to give names, I hope our doctor knows how much we appreciated her today.This 5 star isn’t for the hospital itself- every visit is truly a gamble. This 5 stars goes to the tech and doctor today. And to the ones who also truly make those visits good. If asked, I’d love to give the names but 5 stars to them.Thank you so much for allowing us to say goodbye peacefully today. I wish I had this with my first pets goodbye. I hope the other doctors can learn and grow from the one I had today.”
