“The Post Office at 1179 Main St in Wakefield is honestly a little hidden gem. It’s only ever really busy a couple of weeks before and after Christmas, which makes most visits quick and easy. One of the regular staff members, a woman who works there often, is extremely friendly and does her job very well—always professional and efficient. I can confidently leave prepaid packages without worrying about needing a receipt or whether they’ll get scanned properly.
I almost hate to leave this review because I don’t want word to get out and have this place overrun with humans, but credit is due where it’s earned. Great service and a stress-free experience every time.”
“I can't say enough about the exceptional service I received from Boxford Post Office and Postmaster Giana Stachulski. I had ordered a package from Australia on November 30th, with the intention of giving it as a present today, December 20th. However, the USPS tracking updates were sluggish, and I was starting to worry it wouldn’t arrive in time. After submitting a request for my package to be expedited, Giana went above and beyond to make sure I received it.
She personally called me to let me know the package had arrived at the Boxford Post Office, and she assured me that she would carefully search through the parcels to find mine. True to her word, Giana hand-delivered the package to me, ensuring it made it to me on time for my special occasion. I was absolutely blown away by her kindness, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

People mistake this for the processing plant all the time--01889, Middlesex Essex is a different place so if you have complaints about your package being stuck, it's not the fault of the North Reading Post Office. “The Staff at this location are 2 of the friendliest people I've ever encountered. I come in there with at least 30 priority envelopes to mail, each one having to be manually entered. It can be time-consuming and tedious. Kelly has helped me the last 2 times I've been in and the other woman (whose name has escaped me, sorry!) helped me during my first visit. Both have been so great, helpful and friendly. They get me in and out of there in record time and make my experience very pleasant. Heck, even the fellow customers I've encountered there are super friendly, too! It's nice to be helped by people that are happy to be helping! Great work, keep it up!”

Lose mail when it's been held, leave a note to pick up a package and then take it out again so I can't pick it up, or leave packages lying in the snowbank. Give incorrect info about hold requests. Haven't had a problem in Georgetown.”

To go that extra distance (literally and figuratively) to deliver a package for a girl on her birthday really restores a little bit of faith back in humanity for me. “I have visited this post office several times in the last few weeks and have had nothing short of outstanding service. The staff all are extremely timely, courteous, and helpful. There is rarely a line and if there is, there are 2 associates helping up front. The attitude of the staff is positive, kind, but also professional and helpful. All the staff I have interacted with are kind, but Alicia especially has been amazing. I have a somewhat complex and time consuming transaction and she doesn’t skip a beat with it. She embodies what every employee should strive for and I would go out of my way to visit this location as unfortunately I have not had this same experience at all locations, it varies wildly. 5 shining stars to Alicia and this location!”
