EDIT: AVOID “PJ” AT ALL COSTS, RUDE AND DOESNT RETURN PHONE CALLSTurned away from first appointment due to “not being in the system” received a robo call saying my next appointment was on a Thursday at noon when I scheduled it for Wednesday at 10 am, took multiple attempts to contact front desk despite calling back immediately after receiving call and attempting 3 times a following day. When finally getting a person to answer the phone during regular business hours I received attitude and was told that my appointment was INDEED on Wednesday at 10 with NO EXPLANATION why the robocall says Thursday at noon. Front desk attendant was gruff and rude multiple times

He should not be practicing medicine at all. He is one of the most incompetent physicians I have ever worked with. Zero skills when diagnosis and relying on radiology to tell him what to do. When anyone questions his “orders” to tell him he is wrong, he pulls the god complex of a doctor saying to follow his orders without question. He puts patients in danger without regard. He thinks anyone that is not a doctor is below him and will let it be known. He should have his license revoked. Having working with him I am begging anyone seeking care to seek else where. He will only do harm and collect a paycheck. Run don’t walk to another physician who will actually care about you and work with those who know what they are doing. This doctor clearly does not.

Dr. Emami is taking excellent care of my family member. The time and effort he has put in are admirable. I am seeing some of the other comments on here-- Yes, he requires seeing patients before making a specialist referral. That is called providing good care, as he may have valuable input or be able to manage the issue himself. I am thankful that good doctors like Dr. Emami are here to help us with our family member's illness.

Dr. Emami is my primary care, (or was, i am looking for new PCP) and the only job that he has to refer you to specialty, and he fails to do that. He makes to go there for an appointment to give you referral for specialty, and doing so he fails to provide that. It has been 4 months now, I called the office more than 100 times, I went to his office and talked to himself personally and he promised to take care of the matter himself, nothing has happened yet. I received bill from the specialty doctor 2 times now and Dr. Emami's office does not response to my voice messages. His staff is the worse. she is rude, she does not know how to do her job, and when confronted she is impatient and impolite. I have not had any worse experiences with any other PCP than I did with Dr emami. And I will definitely not recommend him for anything.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have chronic illness and was told “I don’t look sick”. I asked for a referral to Neuro, that was 3 weeks ago. I stillHave not received a referral. If you call and they see your number they just don’t answer. I physically came in today and she told me it’s 2 weeks for a referral and I replied I put in for it 3 weeks ago. This office just wants a paycheck they don’t actually care about their employees.
