Candy Stores
“Staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and earnest in making recommendations and I found several really unique/interesting spreads that were delicious and fun to experiment with!
The only downside is that they dip all their chocolate products in the same vat, so definitely not nut allergy friendly, but the staff were very transparent about that and assisted me in finding delicious things that I could safely eat!”
“Fresh nuts with all the basics such as Cashews, almonds, corn nuts etc. I am drawn however to their own mixes. Very nutty mix has something for all. Cranberry mix with at least six different nuts. Ever heard of peanuts covered in sesame seeds? They also have excellent dried fruit and I can't try to describe their chocolates which has their nuts. Yes I enjoy visiting the shop.”
“Impressive selection! I didn’t ask about sourcing, as I was in a bit of pain and couldn’t stand to chat long, but the chocolate is quite tasty, and the selection is vast.
I especially loved that their Easter bunnies were filled with jelly beans, and they had all manner of molded chocolates. My favorite mold was the fairies. So pretty with white chocolate and colored flowers. ?
Plenty of parking and a beautiful building.
I will be back.”
“Perfect place to get a gift. I paid $65 for a pound of truffles and a bouquet of chocolate roses, which is less than I expected to, and they wrapped them up nice with tissue paper and ribbons. Staff were very friendly”
“Not so many reviews here. Unsure about how they survive after the pandemic, but I received a Christmas gift from a family member, and okay, the candy, it’s the absolute one of the best candies I’ve ever had! Feeling blessed to have tasted such deliciousness. I am thinking about might visiting the store someday in person and say: hey! Thank you. I really love your caramels!”
“The rating is PURELY for the Employees!!!
Proceed with Extreme Caution!! Set your tandems forward for tighter front end maneuvers but watch that swing.
If possible take Route 2A/Massachusetts Ave South then Turn Left onto State St. to stage.
(I was routed North on 2A so I made the Right turn onto State, it’s tight, swing wide and watch the U-Haul trucks parked on left of street. State is one way so use it all) ‘supposed’ to park on left but there was no room. I squeezed on the right and hopped out, because at end of building on the wall is a blue light (see pictures it’s circled) where there is a door and call box. Let them know you are here, a guy will tell you what to do. Basically you stay there until someone tells you to go up to Main st where 2 docks are. You will proceed up State and take a Left onto Windsor, you MUST use that corner lot can’t make the turn any other way. Watch for traffic, parked cars on right of Windsor infront of you and the last electric pole on the left, your trailer will come close. Then make Left onto Main. They guys will help direct you like in pictures, they will open your doors and stop traffic at your rear. You have to watch cyclists (lots) walkers, and idiot people who WILL try to go around you. Once you’re in the door slide tandems back. They will do the rest.”
“Excellent selection and great staff! Our first time here and we were thrilled with the variety of wines from different countries. The French and Italian wines are great, and we really enjoyed taking to the staff about wine. Rob was awesome! Thank you!”
