“Really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was great; I had the braised short rib and ate every bite. The cocktails were delicious as well! The service was excellent. Would absolutely come back.”

“Beach House might be the nicest indoor sand facility in the country, and I’ve been all over! New England is a hard place to play beach volleyball since the weather is incompatible for about half the year but Beach House is an oasis.Rob is one the best operators in the business I’ve met and Elena is always on top of everything. Between the amazing customer service and the premium facility itself the community couldn’t be luckier to have this around. This place is the best.”

“Awesome brewery. The beer is great, my favorites so far have been Betty Witte and the Don’t Stop the Dance raspberry sour. The wood fired pizza is amazing, so tasty with amazing dough, a few unique options also. Swine with Seoul (kimchi, pork belly pizza) is top notch. The owner and staff are very friendly, dogs are more than welcome. The inside is a bit small, but there’s a large outdoor area for when it’s nice out. Totally recommend this place to any beer/pizza lover! I’ll be back many more times.”

“Great spot for the area! Trendy, bright, and eclectic. Doubles over as a coffee shop before 4 (at least on weekdays). Wide range of beer options, from New England IPAs to barrel-aged options (barleywine and a millet ale were on tap recently). Friendly, inclusive staff. Chill or meet up with friends.”

“I love Saloon! Speakeasy feel, great food, and cocktails. Service was super attentive and helpful! My partner and I enjoyed the truffled mushroom toast, roasted octopus, and a burger. Everything was delectable. Parking can be tough in the area. I would definitely make reservations in advance.”

“We had our Valentines Day Wedding at The Endicott Estate! It was a small wedding, no more than 40 guests. It was perfect! We hired an outside caterer and bar service because the Estate does not offer that service. We also hired The Jest Murder Mystery Co. for our entertainment - which was a big hit! All of our guests loved this! The house is stunning. We didn't spend a dime on decorations simply because the house was such a perfect backdrop for photos. The Estate staff is very nice and very accommodating.Advice:You are renting just the house for a short time, plan accordingly. I highly recommend using a Day of Coordinator and plan to visit the Estate with them and your photographer prior to the event.”

“What a treasure the Eustis Estate is! Highly recommend the guided tour and if you’re lucky Richard will be your guide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and appreciation of this exquisite estate and grounds make the experience that much more enjoyable. It is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Looking forward to visiting again in the spring when everything is in bloom.”

“I love photographing weddings at the Bradley Estate! It’s this tucked away little gem of a wedding venue. Eleanor Cabot Bradley lived there starting in 1945 and it’s now a Trustees property open to the public. They can accommodate 80 guests inside the mansion or 180 under the tent. Around every corner is a beautiful piece of history that makes for a great backdrop for photos.”

“Gore Place is an amazing 50-acre spot right on the Watertown/Waltham line, it is pretty much hiding in plain sight but you should not miss this awesome spot!!!Everyone is free to walk around the property from dawn to dusk, and in addition to the amazing looking home, carriage house (available for rentals) and grounds, there are also adorable sheep living in their new barn. You may also see Rocket the Border Collie running around at - of course - rocket speed!I was also here for an employee summer outing years ago for 200 people, so if you need space for that many people that has parking and is convenient to transportation (the 71 bus stops right in front), this is your place. There are lots of events throughout the year, watch their website and follow their Facebook page (FB page also has cool "this day in history" updates detailing what was happening at the farm on that day in the 1800's). They also have cute sheep photos and the occasional sheep pun; everyone needs those. There is a small gift shop inside the house where you can get a gift that is totally unique. I stopped by yesterday after noticing they were having a summer sale and bought something for myself (3 heavy cotton dishtowels, not the crummy kind in regular stores but good, heavy ones which will last for years). Gift shop is open M, W, F & Sat from 10-1 (double-check hours in case other things are happening), nice employees too that can answer all of your questions.”

“Been using their Timothy Hay for a year now for our rabbits. We have always been very pleased with the product. Never have had any surprises in the hay. It has always arrived on time through Chewy.”

“Super cool museum in a big park full of classic cars from the turn of the century. Really appreciate the decision not to refurbish any of them. It really feels more "authentic" and gives you a neat sense of history. Great price. No need to spend more than an hour here but it's worth it -- especially if you like history. The location is kind of hidden in the Brookline suburban parkways. But once you find it, it's nice and in a big park.”

“Fabulous venue with a great staff and fantastic assortment of shows! Large bar available for drink and snack purchases inside the theater space, as well as a great little cafe up front for coffee, tea or preshow nibbles. Handicap friendly - ramp out front and elevator inside!”

“Perfect coworking space in Brookline village. Parking can be a hassle - but the green line stop is freight across. (There is leathered parking and a lot nearby, and several handicapped options)There are breakfast and snack items offered, and we'll as an assortment of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate. And good coffee at that!Rooms range from conference, to individual, and the lighting is great for productivity. There's also some outdoor seating which is nice. I also appreciate the break room space, and other areas to walk away from your work and reset. There are different packages available.”

“This place was a great surprise! Yes, aside from weddings, you can also visit the estate every 1st Saturday of the month. The tour is and hour, after which you can visit the grounds and the greenhouses. We had an amazing guide who was very accommodating and patient with our elementary school kids (who asked a lot of questions). My favorite part were the greenhouses which are well maintained. It’s like a botanical garden, but a bit smaller. The garden host was also very nice and helpful!!!We spent about two hours here but we could have stayed more, plenty to see in the greenhouses.Overall a great place, run by special people!”

“DONALD ROSS!!!! This golf course is one of his many jewels. Layout is amazing, very walkable, Some difficult holes requiring precise tee shots and approach shots. Lots of undulating greens. The course itself is in great shape, greens are firm, tee boxes are healthy. Fairways were all dry despite all the rain. Also a very good value. I highly recommend Sandy Burr”

“Love the Pasta Night food, people and local flair. Helps this 50+ New Yorker integrate to his new Natick home near Boston. Made lots of friends! And "John on Accordion" during Pasta Night is something special!! Not to mention, I'm also a "Son of Italy" (Calabria), myself, from my Great Grandmother, Mom's side, who emigrated to Manhattan.”

“We went with our nine month old son. It's more for active kids to run around. A little noisy and chaotic just for a place to picnic so I would only go there on Thursday if you have kids that want to run around”

“My daughter had the most wonderful bat mitzvah party there on Saturday night. The hall is very large, modern and beautiful. There is ample space in the hall -- we were set up for 90 guests, with a DJ and Henna art table, and there was room to spare. The sound system was excellent, and there's a great space for dancing and DJ setup. Frank worked with us every step of the way with patience and an openness to new ideas. He helped us plan our custom vegetarian menu (likely the first vegetarian meal ever served there!), understand our setup, and work with our dessert ideas. His waitstaff was extremely professional and helpful. The only knock is that the bar selection for beer and wine isn't so modern, but it's a requirement to use their bar service. I didn't mind using it (we also bought the soda/water package) because the money goes to the Sons of Italy for scholarships. However, I would have liked some more choices in the bar. That said, the food was EXCELLENT, the experience EXCELLENT, and I can't say enough about the service that Frank and his crew provided. Happy to recommend again and again!”

“I was invited to lunch. We sat outdoors despite the heat, it was very nice and great shade. Our waitress was patient and thorough as she checked several times to make sure the lunch we ordered was good. It was quiet despite people around at other tables. Just a lovely luncheon with good friends.”

“I attended a wedding here over the summer. The venue was very spacious and beautiful. The grass and flowers were well kept. However, the food was not good. Very under seasoned, and the salmon that I ordered was still raw in some parts. The drinks were good, and the bartenders were friendly.”

“Just got home from the 100th Anniversary Gala at the Dedham Community House and walking through the front door after not having been there for over 3 DECADES, I was rocketed back to the days of my youth when I spent a great deal of time at D.C.H. The fellowship of the event was palpable and the pride in the principles that D.C.H. encompasses is inspiring. The outgoing director of 15 years, Michelle, introduced the new incoming director, who has decades of experience in non profit programs and knows and understands the missions and goals of Dedham Community House).I went to preschool here and I was both nurtured and gently disciplined so that I could LEARN and the wonderful teachers helped form me into the human being that I am today. I went to Dedham Community House summer camp from age 6 to age 12. I made some of my closest friends during those summers days at camp. I learned teamwork, scheduling and routine, listening to directions, sports, crafts, and empathy and compassion for others. I wouldn't trade those days for anything. It's so wonderful to know that D.C.H. is still a place for children to go to be safe and guided. D.C.H. is an important part of our community and I am sure it will be here and thriving 100 years from now. ???”
