“This was my first stay at Studio Allston, and it a was a great experience! I travel a lot, and don’t usually write reviews but everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Parking was super convenient and the location was perfect for my needs. Shout out to all of the amazing staff who helped with recommendations, directions, and making my stay super comfortable as a solo traveler. Thank you to Jonathan and Melissa who were the managers who assisted me. Klara was incredibly warm and welcoming upon check in. Shout outs to Mollidy, Dezarae, Ashleigh, Lucas, and Ervens who were ready and willing to lend a helping hand whenever I had a question, or got turned around on my way to the lobby. Traveling alone can be nerve racking but these guys made my stay great! Will definitely be back.”

“Nice hotel in the Brookline area of Boston. Staff were friendly room was clean and was the bedroom apartment style. Breakfast was great. Onsite parking in an underground parking lot available, but expensive.”
“I usually stay at Hilton properties to earn points, but the reviews convinced me to give Crescent Suites a shot, and I'm glad we did.
The room was basic but very clean, with an updated bathroom. Parking onsite was easy and the hotel is close to several restaurants and stores for anything you might need. There's access behind the hotel to walking trails along the river. It was very quiet in the area. I would absolutely stay here again.
The website is a bit dated, but it does warn you that there is no food or beverage service, no daily housekeeping, and reduced service hours that may result in contactless check in. None of these were an issue for us in 2026, but some people may be confused by the booking confirmation email that says complimentary breakfast is included. (It isn't.)
Still worth the stay for us and if we need to visit Waltham again, we'll try to book here first.”

“Stayed one night and it seemed like a clean hotel. Room was ok size , it had a fridge and a decent size tv. Bed was firm,pillows were so-so. The toilet was weirdly positioned. Shower head was low for me and water pressure wasn't great. Walls seemed thin you could hear doors slam from rooms near us. Continental breakfast was ok eggs were watery and no bacon just sausage. Cinnamon rolls were really good.
I would probably stay again because it was a pretty good price.”
“The Jane Austen Tea at Endicott House in May 2026 was even better than the March 2025 event.
The food quality improvement was obvious immediately: fresher bread, a much more varied and thoughtfully curated sandwich selection, and several standout savory items—the cucumber & watercress, coronation chicken, turkey & walnut finger sandwiches, and even delightful egg sandwiches.
Olivia’s return as Jane Austen was wonderful; she’s a convincing and charming performer who adds enormously to the experience (and actually plays the harp beautifully).
I also appreciated the thoughtful hospitality touches this year, like being able to help yourself to lemonade, water, or iced tea in addition to the hot tea service—it made the afternoon feel especially welcoming and relaxed.
One of the loveliest aspects is that many guests fully embrace the spirit of the event by dressing in Regency attire, which adds to the fun and makes the whole experience feel delightfully immersive.”

“Our team stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Boston Waltham while working the Rare Hope Conference, providing clinical research support, biosample collections, and specimen donation services. Overall, our stay was decent, and the location worked well for our business trip.
Check-in was a little disappointing, as there was no one at the front desk when our team arrived. Thankfully, the Marriott Mobile Key made it easy to access our rooms without any delay.
The room itself was comfortable enough, but the bathroom could use some updates. The towels didn’t feel as fresh or as clean and bright white as expected, and while this is a personal preference, a glass shower door would have been a nicer touch than the traditional shower curtain.
The biggest drawback was the beds. I woke up with significant back pain, and two other members of our team experienced the same discomfort after sleeping there.
We also tried The Bistro and were disappointed. The food was overpriced for what was served. My salad was very basic, and they didn’t offer cheese or onions, explaining that onions aren’t used there. I was even offered chives as a substitute, which wasn’t what I was looking for.
Overall, we’d consider staying here again because the location was convenient for our conference, but we’d skip dining at the Bistro and hope for improvements to the bedding and bathroom amenities.”

“I love this hotel. The staff is fantastic, the building is clean, and the parking lot is large. We spent 2 weeks driving from Maine to Washington DC with a few nights spent here, and this hotel staff was tied for the best of all 6 hotels we visited. My son has disabilities and struggles to walk sometimes, and he tripped outside the hotel and skinned his knee pretty bad. The staff came out to see if he was okay and later brought him some candy to cheer him up. They also texted me during our stay to ask how everything was and if they could offer anything. Great people, great location.”
“Be aware that this hotel wifi blocks all VPN services. Its a bummer that working from the hotel might not be feasible for some.

“We stayed in the standard queen room. Much respect for the designer who squeezed a bed, bathroom, and a closet in 175 sf. Be forewarned that bruised shins can be expected when navigating to the bathroom, especially at night. Once in the bathroom, don't linger in the shower because the ventilation is minimal. And don't linger on the toilet for the same reason.
Helpful hint: use the lobby bathroom for BM's. And when you want to relax, go to the lobby for some comfortable chairs and sofas.”
“It's ok. Kind of on weird area with hotels and a few soul-less restaurants for the tons of hotel guests and not much else. Know they're going to try and stick you up for $20 overnight parking whether or not you drive here. It is like 2 blocks to 95, which is convenient. I do not agree with this being characterized as 4 star more like 2.5/3. The main room is nice, but the bathroom had of dated/worn look with a rust spot around the tub drain where the enamel finish had flaked off of the metal part of the tub. The room gives Marriott. The bathroom gives Motel 6. Like a built upper body and skinny legs, just didn't match. Bogus that their vending machines don't take cards. But for the pricepoint. I'd stay here again. The room was clean.
I say just work parking into the room price. I personally cannot stand being nickel and dimed...it just seems sleazy...that always makes me feel like slapping somebody--which means it feels like disrespect. Just charge the price you need to make enough money in the room price.”

“Such a pleasant stay here! I booked it from Agoda for a night stay. They have spacious paid parking area underground and at the back for $15/day. Their service was so kind, the person in front office and restaurant during our breakfast were lovely. They have very proper room to have a rest, comfy bed, complete room amenities and good breakfast.”

“Good hotel. Nothing really special at all, just a real solid hotel. Basic breakfast, small wall shop for snacks. Attached restaurant/bar, Skybox 109, is reasonable with a large variety of beers, 10 on-tap and standard domestic bottles. Variety of classic American bar food with normal regional twists. Friendly staff. I had the Fish and Chips, above average, over abundance of fries, so-so tartar. Either forget the slaw or were out ? 15 Large TV or all sports BOSTON or current Major sports event.”
“I’ve never seen such a clean hotel room. We had a beautiful view of the river and the city. The fitness room is very well equipped. I agree with other reviews that the parking fees are outa sight. We parked offsite and walked.”

“This hotel is a great value! The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure was great. We did not experience elevator noise mentioned in other reviews, like at all. We came into town to see a game at Fenway. The game was rained out and postponed to the next day. The hotel held our luggage after we checked out for no fee. The hotel is a 15 minute drive to the Riverside T Station Parking lot.”
“This place is amazing! We come every 6 weeks to visit our granddaughter as it’s right nearby. Shout out to Brody Runyon who greets us by name and everyone with professionalism and a big smile. He is in the lobby making sure everyone is happy for their stay and goes above and beyond! Maria at the bar area needs to be commended for her outstanding service. It’s like home here and you will love it.”

“I’ve stayed here many times and I think it’s the best value in the Square. Rooms are immaculate and well-maintained. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are tiny and lack any surface to put your toiletries on but they are clean and everything works. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a very pleasant lobby where you can sit and work or read. There is free coffee in the lobby. There are great places to get breakfast nearby. Parking on site is convenient (but the spaces are TINY) and priced comparably to other lots, with the advantage that you can come and go for a flat fee. It is not luxurious and you’ll have more space and amenities at the nearby Charles Hotel if you want a more indulgent experience, but this hotel is almost always my preference because it has everything I need and I like its friendliness and value.”

“We stayed at the Beacon Inn for two nights in October. The room was large and clean and supplied everything needed for a short stay. The house was older and had a lot period features, so it was a different experience from staying in a modern hotel.
The transport links were really good, we used the train to get into town and the area the Inn was situated in was really lovely and there were several good places to eat locally. Jean checked us in and out and was really helpful and friendly which made our stay really comfortable.”

“We had a great 2-day stay here. The hotel is clean and functional. The room was spacious and our family could stretch out without being in each other’s way.The very best part of the stay was the friendly and helpful staff, especially Melissa C., the front office manager. She made check-in super easy and fast. She called us when our room was ready and was extremely helpful when we asked questions about the hotel or places nearby.”

“Great stay for one night. Keith Kitson was super helpful and my son said he wore cool suits. I have to concur. The only reason I put four stars was because the water pressure for the shower was so weak. If I was staying another night I would have changed rooms because of it. I would stay there again. Parking is $25 a night FYI so just add that into your cost if you have a car.”
