“I grew up going to Nonquitt, and BeJeweled was one of my top four places to go when I biked into Padanaram. Elaine's candy, the dollhouse/knickknack store on the corner, Dockside and BeJeweled (usually not in that order if an adult was around because half the stores involved candy/sugar haha)
Anyways. At 41 I still love visiting this store when I come back from San Diego. Such a friendly staff, very knowledgable and accommodating.
If you're ever in New Bedford PLEASE stop by here!! And even if you're not in New Bedford - make the trip!! :)”

“This establishment has a many items from which to choose at reasonable prices. I found a couple of inexpensively made in the USA gifts on the sale table. The staff was both cheerful and helpful and provided me with some nice gift boxes. If in the downtown area I would shop again.”

“The Acushnet ave branch of Empire loan is by far the best pawn shop I’ve ever dealt with in my life and being a prior addict with seven years sober. I’ve dealt with a lot of pawnshops, unfortunately but I’ve been going to empire lone for about 15 years and it’s like a family reunion every time I go the rates of what you’re charged when you pawn things and go to pick them back up are the best I’ve ever seen and a service you receive is the friendliest and best experience you could possibly get from a pawnshop.
