One of the most beautiful inns we have ever stayed at. Our 3rd floor room was gorgeous, the inn was quiet and inviting. The breakfast was just perfect. Sadie the inn keeper was an absolute delight. Compass Rose is a top notch inn, we will definitely be back!

Excellent b&b, we had Room 3 (king suite). Very large and comfortable. Breakfast included was substantial - hot egg dish, pastries, yogurt, fruit, toast, oatmeal etc. They can meet any special dietary needs if you tell them the day before. Well situated near downtown too! Would definitely return!!

We were briefly in town and needed a place to stay for just one night. It was so charming, cute, cozy, clean and welcoming. My mom won't stop talking about it. We would recommend CRI to anyone staying in Newburyport.
