It's about cable TV. Everytime family member what to watch TV we need to reboot entire system. This being going on for over 3 month. Finally decide to call representative. Spent 30-45 min. reaching out life one. (that was a part of the reason why we putting away the call) Communication was broke off with the first one. 1,5-2 hrs later and with the second person he came to conclusion that FIOS main box needs to be replaced. Store at 230 Needham street was open. Took the box and drove to that location.
Upon arrival I found 2 individuals who told me that person who is in charge and have all access codes actually left and I need to chase him some other time. Tomorrow morning to be exact. Well, the chase is on. To be continued!
Here it comes.
As suggested by store personale I Arrived to the same store again, hoping resolve simple FIOS box exchange. No such luck.
They start lying to my face agail. The system is down. However the employe who suppose to have access code still nowhere to be found. I ask store personal about they customer service and how to resolve this, but been told that it is not what we do here and it is no our primer business to handle FIOS affairs. It says it all!
I Advise you not to set foot in this store. And even better, don't even look in their direction.

I wish I viewed these horrible customer service reviews before going there.

This store provided quotes for my family on wrong plans and promotions that didn’t exist. Cost us hundreds of extra dollars we didn’t need to spend. The customer service was not good. The same people who work at this store work at the Waltham store on Tower Road.
UPDATE: I reached out to the customer service number they listed below and they still did not honor the quotes that my family was provided. I also learned that these people don't work for Verizon, they are just some retail operation. For the best service, I would be sure to go to an official Verizon store.

Absolutely awful service. Was told to come pick up a new cable box over phone and when I arrived 5 minutes later they claim they couldn’t help me and had the stories…….professional gaslighters. They could care less about customer service. Try another location and don’t waste your time especially on a rainy right.

“ Avoid this store like the plague “
Not a Verizon store it’s Cellular Sales
I walked into this store thinking it was Verizon . This store is run by street thugs like they are operating in a back alley. In the city of Newton ma this store is garbage buyer beware . I didn’t check the true reviews on yelp , better business bureau , or Google . Because I thought it was Verizon not a third party low class dealer called “ Cellular Sales”. If you check the reviews they are very low . This is due to my own experience that I can testify . They act like street thugs no morals , values or ethics when operating. They are rude and liars , After my experience on December 3 , 2024 at 8:30 pm. I will avoid the brand “ Cellular Sales “ like the plaque . A bunch of street thugs that are unprofessional running this particular store at 230 Needham Street . Newton MA 02464, I also want to note . I called on December 4, 2024 in the afternoon before 1:00 pm. A sales associate told me . They had no manager or district manager when asked to speak to one . Like I said a bunch of thugs that lie running this store . Buyer Beware !

I've had two negative experiences with this store. Recently I went in to add a line for my daughter to our family plan. The reps pushed me to change my plan to one of Verizon's current ones, and assured me that the rate would be lower per line then I was already paying, so I went along. This turned out not to be the case, and I have to fight with Verizon now to try and get this fixed, as the store has been less than helpful.
It was also not clear to me that this is actually a third party store who will charge you an "activation fee" that is actually not Verizon's activation fee (charged additionally). It was also not disclosed that by changing the plan I would incur $20 per line as additional fees with Verizon. Also, when I said we were interested in screen protectors, and then was dealing with the manager about activating the lines, a rep went ahead and installed a $49 screen protector without asking me which model we wanted to buy.
This was the second time I had a problem like this here. I will not do business with them again.
****addition: after working with the customer service rep who replied to this review, I still have had zero resolution to any of the problems now 3 months later. I would avoid this store and work directly with Verizon.

Verizon corporate told me that I needed to drop off an ONT box at this location. When I walked in a female employee was asleep at the desk. I then explained the situation and she began telling me they wouldn't take it. I decided to just leave it on the desk. She then told me that I was committing a crime and followed me out, taking a picture of my license plate and letting me know she was "reporting me" for doing what I was told by corporate (I even showed her the email to prove it). I asked her what crime I was supposedly committing and she said she would be calling the police. Incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable.

This store is full of fraud. Multiple times, their sales associates have flat-out lied about promotional deals just to get customers to buy new phones or contracts, then bill them differently than stated. They either deny everything when the customer goes back to them for an explanation, otherwise they act like they "made a mistake" then futz in their computers for a few minutes while fixing nothing then tell the customer everything has been fixed. Verizon HQ won't do anything about it because technically they're a franchise. I would recommend that anyone looking for Verizon products or contracts go to any other local Verizon store.
I see the store owners responded. True to form, they act like they are interested in fixing the problem, but never will. Multiple times I've tried to get these problems fixed and multiple times they've done nothing at all (except lie to my face more).
Caveat emptor. Shop anywhere else!

Had Fios and wanted to add a phone line for a discounted rate on internet and mobile as advertised. Instead, never got the advertised discount the salespeople hocked and got slammed with 50$ of hidden fees on the phone and no promotional rate on the phone line either as articulated in the agreement I signed. When going back to the store to deal with the issue, got told to kick rocks (with a smile) and go call customer service where free time gets converted to rage.

Cellular Sales of Massachusetts LLC located at 233 Needham street in Newton is a 3rd party reseller of Verizon. I would not recommend that location but would suggest that you visit the Verizon store in Dedham on rt1 is owned by Verizon. To purchase your next phone.
We were told that our family’s bill would stay the same as what we were currently paying when we upgraded our plan and phones Our first bill was over $500 dollars. The added extra fees like the $45 Device Setup Service for devices they did not set up (Apple Watch) that was still in the box unopened. As well as insurance and other fees.
It took hours on the phone trying to undo the bloated bill they stuck us with. Save time, $ and aggravation by not doing business with this company.

Bought a new phone through Apple and really struggled to get the service set up - came to the Verizon store right before close. They got everything all set up with a smile - Meek was fantastic, really really appreciated his help and kindness!

Please know that as a 76 year old - computer awkward woman I was more than fortunate to secure the able assistance and patient support of a member of of Newton Massachusetts staff- Lee Rogers - he is very smart- extremely patience- remarkably resourceful and a gentleman of high order. - the experience which I dreaded was in fact uplifting and reassuring
