I would like to share my profoundly disappointing experience with AT&T, and I feel compelled to caution anyone considering switching to their service: do not. In my opinion, it is by far the most frustrating and unsatisfactory service I have encountered.
The monthly bills are filled with numerous unnecessary charges, making it clear that AT&T is more interested in profiting from hidden fees than providing value to its customers. To make matters worse, their 5G network, which is advertised as a premium feature, is inefficient and unreliable in many areas. Despite paying $120 per month for my plan, I do not even receive unlimited data—an offering that is available with other providers for roughly half the cost.
Additionally, AT&T employs aggressive tactics to prevent customers from limiting or canceling their accounts. When I attempted to restrict my service, I was met with added fees and endless attempts to convince me to remain a customer. This is nothing short of exploitation.
My experience with AT&T has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend their service to anyone. I am sharing this review with complete honesty and in the hope that others do not have to endure the same frustrating experience. AT&T, in my view, is the worst service provider in the United States.

Do not go to this store!! Go to a real corporate store (i.e. dedham). This is an authorized retailer. They made a "mistake" and opened the wrong phone and said "oops you can pay the $55 restocking fee". "Mistook" the phone price till after the credit card was swiped. (And don't show you on the screen - you find out on your receipt after). Couldn't do a simple data transfer in the 2.5 hour visit. It wasn't even busy. They don't answer their phone. Just terrible customer service. They also added the nextUp $10 monthly charge. Had to call corporate AT&T to fix it.
They obviously work on commission and take advantage of their customers.

I just went to pick up the new phone I ordered online. The customer service was awful. With only 1 customer in at the time I was left hanging and then rushed. My phone was given to me and they didn’t help me set it up apparently due to the fact that they were closing soon. Context: I went in around 5:45pm and their hours online are advertised as close at 8pm. This is the first time I’ve ever had that happen. Very poor service. When I was helped, the associate was also on the phone trying to troubleshoot the printer. There’s clearly a lack of management and professionalism.

I called the store around 1:25PM for Apple 16 Max pro 1TB… the rep acknowledged that they have in stock… and i told them I am on my way. I arrived at 1:30PM and the door was closed and the rep put a sign “closed till 2PM”. I decided to wait and after I got in he tells me that he sold that phone… not sure how he could sell in 5 minutes while the store closed at 1:30 for lunch and he did not have the courtesy to tell me that they will be closed till 2pm. I guess that was his trick to get me in store and then push me to order one. He kept insisting that he can order one for me… a cheap sales technique to get sale by lying… I would order one but definitely not from this authorized retailer.

Bought an Apple Watch, monthly payment $6. Added to existing line, monthly plan charge $11. So that is $17 altogether. Then without asking me or letting me know, they sneakily added a "protection plan", $14 per month, which can buy more than two Apple watches. And it is recurring. Visited store, store said they can only add (without letting you know), they can not remove (even after you noticed and asked), and ask me to call 611 which is their AI phone service line. Be aware folks!

Jeremy at the Newton AT&T store was exceptional at explaining things. He was very patient, answered all of my questions,, and taught me about the most efficient way to use my phone and I pad. He also alerted me to the best prices and followed up to see if everything was working well.
