About Crystal Lake Beach
Crystal Lake Beach is a public beach area that offers a decent spot for swimming and relaxation. While it's not a free-to-enter location, it does have lifeguards on duty to ensure safety. The beach is divided into separate sections for babies, kids, and toddlers, allowing for a family-friendly environment. The lake itself is described as very nice, with the shallows heating up nicely during the summer months. However, the management of the beach has drawn some criticism. The beach opens at 1 pm on weekends, which is considered a ridiculous schedule, forcing visitors who arrive earlier to climb over the fence to access the area. This has been described as a "circus" and has left some feeling like they are being treated unfairly. Additionally, the beach layout can be unclear, and there have been reports of trash and potential pet waste in the water, which has deterred some visitors from staying. Overall, Crystal Lake Beach offers a decent swimming spot, but the management and maintenance of the area could use some improvement to provide a more enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Great little urban gem ! Water is clean and temperate. Sunny and shady spots to lay out and read.

Not FREE, lifeguards on duty. Great place.
They separated the beach for babies, kids and for toddlers. Adults can swim of course.

This is more a strip of land across from the pay to enter town beach. 10 foot by 200 foot patch of grass and dirt with a few benches and a side walk bordering the water with a single set of stone stairs down the shallows. The shallows heat up pretty nicely in the summer and offer a decent place for public swimming.
