"NO CASH BACK" here at this CVS... all the registers apparently only ask "randomly" (says the employee) whether you'd like cash back. hope this saves at least one person from wasting their time here.

Very rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional staff, including the pharmacist herself. I don’t even know how people like this become licensed to operate within healthcare. AVOID THIS PLACE.

This store has the most unfriendly pharmacy people I have seen in my whole life, especially the pharmacist herself! They treat people as if the found them under a rock! After today's experience with them, I had enough! I just when online and switched my prescriptions to Walgreens. Stay away from them, it's not worth the aggravation! CVS should be more thorough when assigning people to their pharmacies!
P.S: I'm giving 1 star because there is no 0

The pharmacists really need some training. 3 times now I have been denied a script, not due to any reason other than pharmacist’s discretion. It’s the same script, dose, frequency, and doc I’ve had for months. Same CVS. I finally filed a corporate report today. Stop playing with people and their health. Y’all are pharmacists, not my doctor.

Pharmacists are unprofessional, cold and lack empathy. If this is your idea of top notch care, the CVS in Newton Centre is the place for you!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to CVS and especially to Nora, a cashier who has gone above and beyond to make my shopping experience exceptional. Nora's helpfulness and attention to detail have truly made a difference during my visits to CVS. Whether it's assisting with checkout or providing valuable advice on products, Nora's dedication to customer service shines through. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist make every trip to CVS a pleasure. Thank you, CVS, for having such an outstanding team member like Nora onboard!

Terrible. They won't even tell you when they run out of Prescriptions, When you call, they will leave a recording saying it's being processed. I'm on 3 days of being Processed. Not good. Then they Finally admitted they screwed up. Yet they still continue to operate this way.

The employees at this pharmacy give every sign of absolutely hating their jobs, and what they hate most of all is dealing with the public. By “public” I mean the customers who patronize the pharmacy and have the misfortune of being subjected to the almost incredible incompetence and hostility of said employees while supplying CVS with the profits from which the employees’ wages are paid. In fact, the pharmacists seem to take a kind of pride in seeing who can be the most incompetent and the most unpleasant to deal with; they regard themselves as an oppressed minority standing in solidarity against The Man--meaning in reality, the hapless citizens of Newton who must come here to get our prescriptions filled. This applies equally to staff who supposedly occupy supervisory roles but have no more interest than their subordinates in taking responsibility for anything. Customers like me who must use CVS because our insurers require it are subjected to abuse from these malcontents on a regular basis. If you are lucky enough not to be in that position, I suggest you take your prescriptions and run, don’t walk, as far away as you can from this hotbed of dysfunction.
