“The employees in this store are kind souls. I was browsing when a worker named Aili approached me and I asked her if I can have a plantain. She graciously walked me over to a stand that gave out plantain samples at no cost. Hailey, the worker at the stand, gave me a plantain and even put cream cheese on the side. This experience made me love plantains. I am highly impressed by the hospitality at this Trader Joe's.”
“They have the most interesting things here and everything is written in Russian. I was fortunate enough to go with a tour guide to this place who translated everything for me and explained to me where everything came from so I suspect this added a lot of positivity to my experience here. Hopefully somebody can learn from my experience to go here and buy these little ice cream things. They're like frozen cheesecakes but much lighter and they come in different flavors and I absolutely fell in love with them.”

“It's nice to buy a soda or something at a place that doesn't say Walgreens/CVS/711. Not enough little stores like this left. My only one gripe would be to ask the guy who works there to take a shower and use deodorant. Other than that he gave me good advice on cold medicine last year.”

“I absolutely love this place. It feels like I'm entering an Italian grocery store when I walk in. Amazing deli meats and sandwiches. Authentic imported Italian products that are very hard to find in America. And I got to know Francesco the owner who is absolutely lovely. Newton Center is lucky to have this store!!”
