The black worker working there is rude and not able to explain the service to customer. How can a Newton which is a decent town hire a such low quality employee.

DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE!!! DO NOT MAIL CHECKS/IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS HERE. My mother’s mail was stolen from this office and her check was deposited into the theft’s account. The Police Department instructed her to NOT use to this Postal Office- as even just this morning several people had already reported such thefts from this very office. NOT okay. Be careful.

The office lady for shipping was super nice. My negative experience came from passport services. The first time we were there, the agent (a guy) who didn’t let us sign our application (for our child) before mailing it, so after 4 months we get notified that we need to resubmit our application.So we went all the way there, this time it was a different lady. She did let us sign. However, after we left, she called us and told us that WE need to mail our application. Okay fine whatever I went back and bring my own envelop and stamps (she asks for two stamps). And when I got home, i read the letter myself it states very clear on the letter that it was actually her (acceptance agent) responsibility to send the new application. (Because it was the agent’s fault that the application didn’t went through. )All these back and forth could have been avoided in the beginning if the first agent there does his job right. Good thing we start our application early. Now we need to wait maybe another 4 months to see if there is any other surprises.

Wow what an awful person who was at the counter idk his name but he sure was a rude person, I took my item to return it and didn’t have a tape on my box this awful person who was at the counter would not seal my package and send it!! He said you need take it back tape it and bring it back or buy a tape to seal it. We’re talking about a piece of tape I wasn’t asking you to pay for my services just awful beyond words. He needs to be fired very rude man!!

This office used to have two of the nicest postal workers I've ever dealt with. Now it has two of the nastiest and most incompetent. Outrageous, given that we pay their wages.

Horrible experience with the employee who handles the passports' renewal. Impolite to the extent that he was yelling at us.The passport counter was taken by other clients who were mailing boxes from the wrong counter.We had an appointment husband & wife which we were excused only for 1h from our work hours just to be with our minor to renew her passport; we ended up wasting our time yelled at & got humiliated. I feared he would sabotage our application process so I decided not to renew the passport there. He was extremely rude to us. Never had such an experience.

Their Apple Pay doesn’t work. Guy wasted 20 minutes of time and had to redo a bunch of work. No sense of customer appreciation either

If the government came out and said this was the worst post office in the country, I wouldn’t be shocked for a moment. The two man team (if you’re lucky to have two people at the desk) process about two people an hour. They are so, so bad at their jobs and should be investigated.

If I could give negative stars I would. Every time I go in-person or reach out over the phone I'm met with the most unkind and in-humane service. I've seen the staff scoff and stare at a woman looking for a pen when none were non provided, ignore a report of the package drop box being jammed and then roll their eyes at the next person who tried to put in their package (who didn't know about the jam), and today as well, when I called, they completely dismissed my questions regarding my passport. Ultimately, my passport question needs to redirected to the department of state, but I didn't need to be yelled at on the phone or told that I was basically wasting their time after about 15 seconds on the line.
