“So far so good. Looked at a small storage locker at one of the big extra storage places and the price was ridiculous. Like $200 min for anything. Came here and it was way cheaper for a small locker. Ended up not getting it but came back a couple months later and Nicholas showed us again and the process was super easy. Highly recommend the place if your looking for a decent storage space for that’s in a safe area. Only downside is you have to pay like $11 extra for insurance but you can prepay and get a small space for around $65-$90 if you just get a 5x10 like we did. But customer service was great and was never upsold hard or anything.”

“I recently rented a moving van from the Lawrence location, and can't speak highly enough about Kendall! He was very efficient, and professional throughout the process. I had reserved the 12 foot truck to move my items to Florida. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, the 12 foot truck had the check engine light on, and he had offered me the 16 foot truck. Although I drove this truck home, there was no way I could drive this truck to Florida. I returned the next day, and they had a van which was the same size basically as the 12 foot truck. My items fit in this van perfectly! The van seats were very comfortable, smooth ride with no issues at all! Returning the van was just as easy. Thank you so much, Kendall, for making this part of my move seamless!”

“This is one of my first reviews of any kind :-) We haven't yet used any other rental place so can not compare but we have been satisfied with Taylor Rental. Used them twice for our party needs and they were nice and polite and always had stuff ready for us for pickup. No waits etc. Helped load and unload the stuff and the paperwork was neat. And today we had some water in the basement and they rented a pump. Again, very helpful. I would gladly recommend them to others. Gaurav”
“It was easy enough to get and drop off the U-Haul but they charged me for two days of rental when I only had it one day. They said it was because we only requested 4 hours and had it for 7 but we literally weren’t given a choice. Also we picked up and returned within the same day- on a day when the shop wasn’t even open. Also, they charged us our estimated mileage and never adjusted for what the true mileage was. A difference of like $20.
I’ve never been charged by another location for going overtime. I spoke to U-Haul on the phone and they said we technically didn’t need to be charged that it’s up to the location. But like I said we were given a choice. So just an fyi. Call and speak to someone to confirm so you get get around the timing issue. And just know this location will add fees without being transparent about it.
Update: spoke to the owner and he issued a refund.”
“Reserved online for Monday, called 30 minutes before saying I wouldn’t make it but would be in tomorrow. They switched my reservation easy and no hassle! Gave me tips and I was on my way easily. Great place to rent from. Would use them again if needed”
“The U-Haul website let me rent on 12/26/22. When the day came, the owner called me just as I was getting in my car to head over, to tell me that they are closed (observing Christmas). He could have easily told me to reserve the truck for another day, but he was already at the gas station waiting for me to get there. He was kind and I would recommend you rent from here.”

The U-Haul worker whom assisted Me , was Exceptional with Explaining the Rental Services, he had answered all my questions and was very Helpful and Professional. “I found the staff and the building to be exceptional. The office hours are accomodating - they are open six days per week. If the staff is not available when you get there, they are also available to make an appointment and be there for me. The self storage facility is availble 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days per week. You can't ask for more than that - especially, since I have to get in there most of the time closer to 10 p.m. The office worker was very nice and helpful as well as the owner who gave me a tour of the building. Both have been there every time I needed some. They also have a forwarding number, after hours, which is answered 24/7. I liked that you didn't need any personnel there to access your self storage, since they have a very secure key pad access system in the back that I was soley responsible for and didn't need anyone to let me in. And, when I wanted to move out, I simply called and gave my notice and an email receipt was in my mailbox pronto! Their policy is clearly stated when I moved in and signed a contract indicating that I would be PRORATED on the way in, but if I moved out early, I was responsible for the entire month. After shopping around, all local self storage place have the same policy. I would highly recommend the office workers, the facility and the UHAUL rental service.”
