“This is an older Dollar General store building compared to some of the new modern ones popping around the metro area.Just because it is a discount dollar store, it does not mean that everything is a good deal...I like their snacks and many times, I am able to find some good value on their sweet treats.The store is a bit older and darker inside...the aisles seem a bit tighter to walk around, but if you just go in, get your stuff and pay, you are good to go....”

“We "discovered" Ocean State Job Lot when we camped at Fisherman's Memorial back in the early 1980s, years before we moved to Rhode Island. What a great idea! Buying up overruns of good products to sell at discounted prices. We've been living here for decades now and still appreciate the helpfulness of OSJL staff. After another good experience today, I want to thank Melissa, Tiago, and Joseph at the 122 Pawtucket store -- along with many other kind staff who have helped us over the years.”

“I go here about once a week! I'll update next time with some pictures. I enjoy searching through the large selection of products this place has. Everything is super cheap in price & typically quite discounted, just beware that some products could either be damaged in some way or expired. Nothing I've ever bought has been too far off or widely damaged or broken. This being said not everything there is damaged or expired, they also have products there that are fully intact. Give it a look through ... the snacks, cat/dog foods & toys, spices, baking section, are some of my favorites. Employees are usually always very pleasant and friendly.”

“I am so impressed with this job lot location. I was on the search for a grocery item that seemed to be out of stock at many locations. An employee named Tammy, kept her eyes open for it and went as far as locating it and calling me when she found it at another store. I could only wish all stores have this kind of customer service!!!!The store is organized and have a little bit of everything. Plenty of parking also. I will continue to shop this location!”

“I've always loved Ollie's. even prior to the name change. There's always something awesome to discover. Most recently, I was looking for hardwood flooring tiles, and they delivered at a great price. I also found a very reasonably priced carpet roll that was perfect for a good sized room refinish. You'll be surprised at what you can find if you look around and visit often. Make sure you buy it when you see it there might only ever be one of those products.”

“I've only been shopping at this location 4 times and today's finds were so worthwhile. With Easter coming soon, my goal is always to gift my sons with something to remind them of their dad and the love he had for them before he passed away. Ocean State Job Lot didn't not disappoint! I found food from Italy that I could only find at an Italian shop in Pennsylvania. What a great experience not just for me but to remind my sons that though their dad is no longer here, they can still enjoy things that he used to buy for them. Price is on point as well. Customer service was fantastic. Krystal (cute pink and blue hair!!) was super talkative and shared a few things about her shopping experience there as well. She was great at what she does, made me feel comfortable talking and left me with a smile. All in all a great shopping experience!”

“If you are in the Central Falls and/or Pawtucket area, this Dollar Tree is very convenient...it has a large parking lot (with lots of potholes...but that happens)....and a large footprint. I went to get some party supplies and they were very well stocked. The store is mostly well organized and well lit....The snacks section is also very large. They have a refrigerated and frozen food section all the way in the back...”

“I stopped into this D tree the other day for the first time and it was decent. The inside was a little outdated and kinda unorganized but that doesn't bother me, just the way it is. I really liked the seasonal section of party supplies/ decorations. They had some cute themes for spring & summer which is always fun for BBQs, drinking nights , hangouts in the yard with friends. Can't beat the paper cups, plates,napkins and all the other matching accessories for a little theme night. The store had pretty much everything else you'd expect at a dollar store. Great variety of anything you're looking for. The cashier was super friendly, unlike most people in the public that I've encountered :-) nice to know their are still some pleasant people out there who enjoy their job.”

“This dollar tree gets an A++++++! What a difference a little bit of time and new management makes. This store is organized, clean, friendly, fun, and very easy to find things. I'm the past I never really enjoyed going to this particular dollar tree because it was a mess, you couldn't find anyone who worked there and it just sucked. Now there are smiling staff members eager to help you, organized aisles and shelves, quick and easy cash out. Great job Dollar Tree staff and management. The store looks cool, fun, and easy to shop. I find myself looking for reasons just to stop in even though there is a different dollar tree closer to where I live. I just love this one.”

“?❤️?? I love Dollar tree all the things are a $1.25 plus the tax Rhode Island tax it's not bad still cheap and good stuff too to buy. I'll share this thought with the OTC card you get from Blue Cross or any other health organization out there I use it for mouthwash and toothpaste their mouthwash and toothpaste is very good and I can make the amount they give me every month on my OTC card last a lot longer this is an idea if anybody wants to try this you'll see your card will last a lot longer if you do it like that there might be a couple other things you can get there with your OTC card I got to check this out one day thank you.”

I needed some hooks for one wall and I was able to find 3M Command hooks for a fraction of what I would had paid at Home Depot or Target. Yes, maybe the selection of them are not as good, but I was able to be flexible and go either a size higher or lower based on my need. As a savvy shopper, remember to check the dollar stores for deals on items...don't overpay at the big warehouse retailer if you can avoid it.....”

“This Family Dollar is across the parking lot from the Aldi on Smith St, which I frequent. The store is a bit small and it has entry doors on the sides of the facade, not on the front of it, so it makes it for a bit of an awkward entrance. I go in a few times a month to check out value stuff and last time I got some health care items for cheap. Nice lady working the cash register, very helpful and chatty.”

“I am a big fan of Dollar Tree stores. This one is close to the LA Fitness and the Ocean Job Lot, so it's in a nice location between Providence and Pawtucket. Depending on the time of year, I can always find some good deals on seasonal items for decoration. But all year round, I can find toys, greeting cards, household cleaners, health and beauty items, kitchen stuff, basic groceries, and more. The staff is a bit aloof, so not very friendly, but it's a great place to shop for discount items.”

“This place is my go to for most everything. Their prices are better than a supermarket. I live next door. Larry the manager totally revamped the whole store. Everything very clean and reorganized. I always find what I need. The employees are awesome, polite, helpful. They always say hello how are you and thank you for shopping there. I always feel welcome while shopping which is very important to me. The outside is very clean also since Larry took the management position and they all work as a team to make your shopping experience a great one. Thank you all for what you contribute to your job. “Probably one of the better Dollar Tree stores I've visited in recent memory. The store is much bigger than it appears on the outside. The inside was clean, and the shelves were kept pretty organized. Very good selection, particularly on harder to find items at stores closer to me. I was pleasantly surprised that it had a Dollar Tree Plus section...another attribute lacking at my usual stores. The day I went, they were stocking shelves. They did seem pretty frazzled, but nobody was rude. It was just a little awkward trying to navigate around boxes that were left in the aisles while they moved on to stock another section. And, in fairness, I was only in the store for about 15 minutes, so it's very possible they took care of things shortly after I left. The only employee I actually spoke with was the cashier, and she was very friendly. I will definitely be back!”
