“This is an older Dollar General store building compared to some of the new modern ones popping around the metro area.Just because it is a discount dollar store, it does not mean that everything is a good deal...I like their snacks and many times, I am able to find some good value on their sweet treats.The store is a bit older and darker inside...the aisles seem a bit tighter to walk around, but if you just go in, get your stuff and pay, you are good to go....”

“I've only been shopping at this location 4 times and today's finds were so worthwhile. With Easter coming soon, my goal is always to gift my sons with something to remind them of their dad and the love he had for them before he passed away. Ocean State Job Lot didn't not disappoint! I found food from Italy that I could only find at an Italian shop in Pennsylvania. What a great experience not just for me but to remind my sons that though their dad is no longer here, they can still enjoy things that he used to buy for them. Price is on point as well. Customer service was fantastic. Krystal (cute pink and blue hair!!) was super talkative and shared a few things about her shopping experience there as well. She was great at what she does, made me feel comfortable talking and left me with a smile. All in all a great shopping experience!”

“Ollie's is your typical junk closeout bargain store, you can truly find good stuff at bargain buyout prices HOWEVER not on everything. Candy, candy is the 1 item that is usually over priced IN MY OPINION. I have found that prices on some household products are not marked down & in some cases priced higher. That being said what you will get deals on, bed linens, from mattress covers, sheet sets, blankets, electric blankets & throws. The stores usually has seasonal decorative items, household cleaning items, laundry products as well. There is a small selection of books for everyone, large selection of candy, boxed cerals, cookies, nuts, pickles, sauces, jams & jelly. They carry cheap wall art, assemble yourself furniture, area rugs, AC'S, Fans, tarps & small selection of automotive cleaning area. There's always a huge selection of K cups & teas, a small selection of clothing for both adults & children, a moderate selection of kitchen cookware, bakeware & countertop items. You will also find personal hygiene items, body soaps, shampoo & pets products that include dog treats, p pads, collars, leashes, bowls, beds, & toys. The location I usually shop is on 44, Seekonk/E Providence located in the same strip mall parking lot with Tractor Supply & Price Rite. There's plenty of free parking that's well lit in the evening.”
“This is a fairly typical Dollar Tree. At a Dollar Tree I don't expect perfection, obviously, and this one is perfectly within that tolerance.
We went near Christmas, so we got to take advantage of the wide selection of wrappings, boxes, bags, and candies.
As always, Dollar Tree shines when you need a few random, specific things to fill a need and you don't really care how that need is filled.”

“I went in on Saturday looking for items for my son’s Bday and Michelle was soooo helpful! She went above and beyond to check and help me locate these items! The store is always clean and everyone is always typically great but she saved my son’s entire party and I am grateful!”

“The place was okay, there's a lot of parking. Was well organized and was stocked pretty well. They need to fix the lighting as I felt like I was in a basement. I would also recommend more cashiers as only 2 people for a long line isn't good. Other than that, place was clean, stocked and things were running smooth. Can't ask for more, I'll go back.”
“I went in right at opening time. I found everything I had written on my own shopping list, and was in and out quick enough. The shopping carts now have poles on them, preventing the carts from leaving the store. The front end shelving has been rearranged, leaving more room for customers to navigate their shopping trip”

I now have to be faithful to the Dollar Tree that is closest in walking distance from me, Clinton Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Over time, I have saved so much money by shopping at Dollar Tree, and have watched the Clinton Street store grow into what it currently is...today, the newest addition to this particular store is a scanner that will help a customer determine what the actual price of your item is. Just place the UPC code under the scanner, and the price of the item appears on screen...”

I had an experience where there was a credit card in
the slot or WJATEVER you call it and apparently it was there all day. There was an old guy in front of us-we thought he left it there and told our cashier, apparently it wasn’t his and it was there ALL DAY!!
Since the cashier took it out, I guess it broke, which was supposedly common, and then we had to wait like 6-7 minutes to fix it?? (67???ts tuff?? OKAY ANYWAY)
I know this story isn’t encouraging, but the cashier was SO friendly and it was funny to laugh about it.

“I like the store overall. Usually just go in for snacks, milk, etc.
However, one of the staff is addicted to his phone and cant stop looking at it even when he's cashing someone out at the register. Instead of handing the person their receipt he just slaps it on the counter cause he cant look up from it. Half the time he's outside smoking/vaping and doesn't even see the customers lining up at the register. The regulars know what I'm talkimg about! Lol! The thinner taller fella. And I apologize if he's special needs.”
