“Thanks guys (seriously).

The mechanic's here are top notch. They got me out of a jam when my car broke down. I had not been to this shop previously, even so, they treated me with respect, were clear in communication; and very fair with pricing.

They got my car fixed quickly and efficiently; and got me back on the road without any drama.

Would recommend 5*****'s!”

“It's probably one of the cheapest places to get gas around and easy to get to. They have a bunch of pumps, and the hoses extend if the gas tank is on the opposite side of the pump.”

“10 gas pumps (I think all have diesel and 3 grades of gas) and a tire inflator outside. Inside attendants are always polite and helpful. Always clean with all sorts of snacks, drinks and accessories available. Pay at the pump or prepay inside for a slight discount and even more discount on gas after 9 pm. Not sure about hours, but I think they’re 24. They’re on Rte 1 at the junction with Dean St so very convenient. Remember if leaving on Dean St there’s no left turn out, but otherwise you can easily enter/exit on Rte 1 and can enter/exit from Dean Street - the no left turn is because it’s a busy intersection and could be hairy. If you right turn onto Dean there’s various spots to be able to turn and come back.”

“I’ve gotten my inspection done here the last few years and they always do a thorough job. Recently I needed a lot of work done on my breaks in preparation for carrying a canoe on vacation and so I took the car to A&J. They did an excellent job getting rotors and pads replaced on both axles plus cleaning up some very stiff and rusty calipers. Plus they got it all done in one day even though when I brought the car in I had only checked the front left break so the job turned out to be a good deal more work than he was probably expecting. I appreciate that he also saved me some money by cleaning the calipers and only replacing parts that were actually worn out. We had the car fully loaded with the boat strapped to the roof for the last week and the new breaks worked like a dream. Definitely recommend stopping in if you need someone to work on your car who knows what he’s doing.”

“Nice people quickly washed my trailer and I was able to pick it up. Thank you for your understanding!!! The price of the wash with odor control chemicals is $75, I recommend it!”

“One of the best prices around. The air machine can be a little confusing, just remember to double check your desired psi before hand and you should be fine.

I go here for the gas ⛽️ ?. Can't beat the price. ?”

“Self serve gas station with a couple pumps for full service. Rarely every use the full service but when i do, whoever is working there is very polite. One time i needed a shell rewards card and had to ask for one from the attendant and again he was very helpful. No complaints.”

“There was one day about two years ago when I needed to get gas and was driving along Route 1 in Norwood by the University Avenue intersection. I remembered there was a gas station here, and thought it would be the perfect place to stop and fill up as this Sunoco always has good prices for being on Route 1 (any gas station on any highway is always higher priced than a gas station on a deserted road or town center, for some odd reason). To my surprise, the station was closed for renovation. Now, that day I was disappointed with this station, but now, being brand new and all, it's GREAT! The store is much larger than its previous state and carries cold drinks, sweet candy, and delicious snacks for your busy trip down Route 1. They also have coffee and lots of other perks inside, like an ATM and ice machine. The gas station isn't ever too busy, has lots of space (isn't in a congested spot along the highway) and has very helpful employees inside. They have cool cash register screens as well as an interesting rewards system. The gas station is accessible via Route 1 Southbound, or on Neponset Street, just before the Route 1 interchange. Great gas station choice for the area. 5 stars.”
