“One of my favorite stores to buy gifts (for others and for myself)! Unique, beautiful, fun, gifts at a reasonable price ranging from houseware to bags and jewelry; good for Father's Days, Mother's Day, housewarming, birthday, baby showers and any other gift-giving occasion!I also did the decoupage shell making class (as a birthday gift for my sister). It was a fun and unique way to spend a Sunday. And if you haven't seen the decoupage shells that Hilary makes, they are beautiful! I loved getting to make them ourselves.Hilary -- the store owner -- is fantastic! She is creative and friendly and makes a lot of the items herself.”

We went to browse before making some decisions about new lighting in our kitchen, and two outside lights. We found exactly what we needed. Although their in-store inventory is more than adequate, they can order practically everything, and will give you mountains of catalogs to look through. Also this is shopping local, the quality of what they're selling is high and their prices are competitive.”
“After a great experience in the bedding department we moved on to outdoor furniture and had the pleasure of working with Derrick Roderick. Whoever does the hiring at Jordan's is to be commended because we had two of the best buying experiences we've ever had. Derrick was extremely knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. Once we narrowed it down we got comfortable at the set we liked the most and chatted with Derrick for about 15 minutes weighing the pros and cons of the set versus one other. Once decided he went to work with the business manager to get us the best deal. We laughed that he was like Howie Mandel working on our behalf. “The best quality in furniture and accessories for the house! And the service like no other place; amazing, patience and friendly. Some may say it’s pricey but I believe the quality and service is beyond worth it. When I first moved in into my apartment was during the pandemic and yet they still manage to get the furniture at a reasonable time frame where most places said MONTHS to A 1 year. First thing i bought was my bedroom set, the service and quality made me want to keep buying but I was very hesitant on which dinning table and chairs to get as well as my coffee table for my living room area, and lastly my bar stools for my breakfast counter. I wanted white & gold but i also wanted grey & silver, HomeBasix helped me put it all together and it came out PERFECT. I also bought some finishes touches like my curtains, decor and wall frames. Everyone who comes to my apartment loves my furniture and decor and asks where is from, I have HomeBasix to thank for! Thank you for your patience and great quality!! Truly recommend it!”

“This shop is a gem in Roslindale! When possible, I tend to do most of my shopping locally. Spending money in there community ensures that is stays in the community.As the seasons change, so do the available items here. In the spring, I buy some seeds for the garden. The summer months have products more associated with that. As we head into autumn and winter, the focus shifts toward the holiday season. I always buy some Christmas gifts here for various family and friends.The store is always busy during Small Business Saturday and the holiday markets.They stock a variety of items such as cards, jewelry, home decor, clothing, and lots of localy-themed items such as coasters, towels, and glassware.Everyone who works there is extremely helpful and takes the time to talk with me. This is something that you generally don't get in a large chain store.In conclusion, this is a great store and comes highly recommended by me!”
“They really do hire great staff here . They are friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. They helped me reframe a clownfish I have had for many years . They let me keep the old glass , even though I could tell they didn't consider it quite up to snuff. I actually really like that because I can be a bit of a snob myself. “A huge warehouse sized store filled with every type of furniture that occurs in your house or office. If you have storage/furniture/decorative needs this is a great place to get ideas because the floor is set up in a maze bordered by dozens of rooms all perfectly appointed. Ideas for large and small rooms from small to medium budgets. If you have the funds and need to special order solid oak built-ins maybe look elsewhere but for the rest of us this is a great place to pick up the odd bit or furniture to organize your home. We did eat and the restaurant/cafe on the second floor and the line was quick despite being full and all the staff were wearing hair/beard nets. The food was hot and tasty with a decent variety. The tables were cleaned frequently and the whole store and eating area is family friendly.”

I randomly went in here and the two guys I talked to were so helpful; they matched me with the most perfect band within minutes! I can’t believe that I’d gone to Newbury St and tried dozens of rings for over $1k with no luck, then I walked in here and they found me the perfect match in solid gold with diamond accents for only $325.
