Berkshire Medical Center is a very good hospital that receives high marks for excellent care. Multiple reviews describe incredible experiences with an exceptional and amazing entire staff. The emergency room team is noted as kind, caring, compassionate, and friendly, working very hard. While waits can be long, staff provide treatment and compassion during that time. Doctors and nursing staff are repeatedly praised as wonderful, amazing, great, and so caring. The care extends across departments, including an effective Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. That unit is a safe place for healing, staffed with kind and caring people who connect patients with outpatient resources. The surgical team shows excellence and compassion, and rehabilitation experts in physical and occupational therapy provide expertise. Patients express being very grateful for the exceptional, incredible, and amazing care received, giving the highest grades for their experiences. The staff is consistently thanked for what they do.
Never been to a worse hospital in my life before. It's a slaughter house, stay far way in you want to live.

I was very impressed with the entire staff at Berkshire Medical. I have never been there before and everyone from the checkin to the staff was exceptional and amazing. The Doctors and nursing staff were so caring for my family member I thank all you for what you do.

My 87 year old mother was brought there by ambulance after throwing up black fluid at 4 pm. The staff didn't see her until 10:15 pm. Is that acceptable? This is an understaffed, poorly run, totally disfunctional medical center with the same reputation it always had, terrible.
