Horrible service. I waited for 15 minutes in the shoe department for some older guy to come assist me. And then he disappeared. Now I'm old too but I hustle. Very disappointed I walked out I needed shoes but I'm just going to buy them online. To be specific it was on October 9th at around 7:00.

Tony w bike / ski shop - incredible at helping troubleshoot an REI bike that I tried to rebuild (after storage) and with repairing a twin stroller that was available in the member discount area. thank you Tony & REI. great investment to be an REI member (my Dad joined long ago in Virginia )

If you're not shopping at REI sometimes, idk what you're doing. Great quality selection, updated often, some of the most knowledgeable and friendly staff out there.

I had a fairly poor experience in this store today while trying to purchase a multitool. I stood by the case for some time without any support, which is totally fine, except when I did go across the floor to find some help, none came. I stood and waited for several more minutes and no one arrived. I simply needed the case opened to I could buy the tool. I was in full view of the register so, despite not having offered any help while I stood waiting, a cashier asked if I was all set when they saw me start to leave, obviously frustrated. I confirmed I could get the same tool at Ace Hardware nearby so I am going to willing to go spend more money there (I had my Co-Op credit handy to support my purchase). Between the bad press lately and increasingly poor service, I will not be back. Despite 20% off bike service for members, I will be taking my bike elsewhere.

My husband and I came here recently to stock up on gear for an upcoming trip. We were impressed with the selection of products, but what really blew us away was the service, Reuben is above and beyond exceptional. He went to great lengths to help us find what we needed and he was super personable and enthusiastic. He is a great ambassador for the REI brand and you could tell he is passionate about the company and his work.

Great but zero parking yet again yesterday (1pm on a Tuesday) in this large lot despite very few people in REI and Planet Fitness. Tons of people are parking here that dont frequent the REI, Planet Fitness and Dunks and management/landlord needs to start doing something about it.

Boyfriend and I spent the afternoon at this REI getting gear for our future adventures and there were two employees that went above and beyond to give us a great experience.
Rueben was extremely friendly and helpful as I tried to find the best rain pants and snow pants and base layer for skiing. He helped assure me the rain pants would be great for the Patagonia weather, as he had lived there in the past!
Steve in the shoe department helped my boyfriend find the best running shoe that had zero drop and enough room in the shoe box.
Overall we are thankful for these employees!
