"Good luck brotha, I'll be around if I can" is what Kevin the Store Manager told me after he informed me he had an 11:30 meeting in the back when the representative from Windback could not help me resolve my issue over the phone who he was speaking with. After sitting with Kevin for over an hour he asked me for my phone to call Customer Service and had me talk to them in the store. Something I could have done in comfort of my own home. Extremely disappointed to say the least. If I could give this review zero stores I absolutely would. Kind of pathetic if you want my complete and honest opinion.

Outstanding. Went in to set up an appointment to change over phones and was helped right away. People were extremely helpful and polite. Great store.

Terrible…I went to this store today trying to buy a new phone. They said they will only let me finance my phone for 36 months and not let me pay for it in full? If I wanted to pay for it in full I had to order it online, I was literally standing in their store trying to spend 1200 on a new phone and they wouldn’t help me. After I called Verizon directly they told me that wasn’t true I should be able to pay in full for a phone.in store. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location.

Edit: their response is so robotic. I doubt that anyone will be coached, or anything gone on. Avoid place like a plague. Other reviews don't look promising either. If I worked there, I'd take pride in the work. Don't even think the owner takes pride in the store!Walked in there while on the phone with a representative from Verizon Retention. Just asked simple questions, and the woman who was "attempting" to help didn't seem to enthusiastic to assist. I took my phone and left, since she was unwilling to assist or provide answers. What's worse is that there was another person in there and they needed assistance transferring some information, and she was pushing back from helping him, as she stated "we close in 25 min. That transfer will take an hour!" Gotta love how you are so focused on leaving then assisting a customer.

I was locked out of activating my number on a new phone since the original phone was erased and eSIM removed. Bringing in MA license and my federal passport did not count as acceptable forms of ID.According to the employees I worked with, they claimed anyone could fake the IDs and I could be pretending to be my father, which telling other Verizon technical support staff and eventually the Burlington Mall location staff were initially suspicious of me because Reading refused to verify my identity in the store and no other Verizon employee believed they would have denied me at the store like that.Attempting to switch carriers resulted in not even being able to sign into my Verizon account without the ability to receive a text. I could have saved hours of troubleshooting and the worst customer service experience of my life getting bounced back and forth between technical support and company stores if the employees in Reading had simply verified my identity with my state and federal IDs as they did within 20 minutes at the Burlington Mall location. Not only did the Reading, MA store lie to me and tell me they could not verify my identity using my IDs, they then made me appear suspicious to everyone I spoke to at Verizon afterwards. The headache this store caused me was a literal nightmare.DO NOT GO TO THIS VERIZON STORE FOR ASSISTANCE.

Under staffed garbage store. I was told it would be 1 hour wait. 1 hour later, they said it would be 1 hour more wait, and i was last on the list. Thank you for wasting my time. Pathetic excuse for a store.

Rude. Unhelpful. I asked a very simple question and the female sales associate immediately got defensive. She didn't want to listen. She was training a new staff member which she absolutely shouldn't be training anyone.

Rude, not helpful and said they couldn't look at my phone. They don't change batteries, look at phones and you need an appt. Was looking to buy one but was told call verizon.mmm

Haven't wrote a yelp review in years but Verizon brings me back. I experienced the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life, on 6/30/23. It took me 4 hours to purchase a phone (already knew what I wanted), three phone calls to Verizon corporate while in the store (each of which the telephone representative said that they should be able to help me in the store "they either do not know what they are doing or just don't want to do their job", and ultimately I had to make the purchase online for "express in store pick-up" to be able to purchase the phone and pick up in the store that day. Also, we signed in and waited for someone to help us - which ultimately no one really did. One associate was helping another woman for hours with her watch, and was trying to help us on the side, yet no other associate noticed or cared to call out our name to help us (but helped at least 6 other customers who signed in after us). When the phone was finally able to be handed to us after four hours, an associate locked the phone in the verizon locker and we had to go through 7 steps to unlock the locker. The associate roller her eyes at us when we needed help unlocking the locker, when she could have handed us the bag in the first place. Worst electronic device purchasing experience I have ever had.

Do not go here. Very very disappointed in Verizon, first of all a women name Andrea helped us and was very very rude, pushy, and scammed us. We came in to buy new phones and trade ours in, and she was rude the whole time. We told her we were at another location to just look at what the options were, and when we said that she was trying to get us to leave and go to that location instead. Once we picked what phone we wanted she asked us if we wanted Verizon Mobile Protection for 17$ a month on the new apple watch and my dad said no. She added mobile protection to all three of our lines including the Apple Watch even though we said no, and it wasn’t until we got home that we found out what she did. We had to contact support online to get a refund, and to cancel the protection. She should’ve never happened, and we will not be going to this location again.

I have been going to the store for over 15 years . They know me and treat me like gold . Unbelievably professional . You won't get it till you go there . I have 5 phones with them . And never have a problem . When I do , they take care of me . It's gotta be the most friendly store I've ever been in

The management team has to do better. I understand they dont see a lot of black consumers. But they judged the book by it's cover. Im very wealthy . And i make more than their whole staff in a year. It's not a good look.

Horrible service. Brand new $1500 iPhone dead after 3 weeks, contracted the store and was rerouted to another phone number. They checked inventory and said they had what I needed in stock. Showed up at the store and was treated very rudely by sales person. After 15 minutes, finally got somebody to check inventory and they did not have it in stock. There's no communication between corporate and the stores and customer service here is abysmal. Avoid at all costs!

Giving one star because the man that ended up stepping up and helping us was very sweet on (9/12/22). When we first walked in the lady was rude saying she’s working alone and had no help to take care of us until this guy came in and assisted. I also walked in with my service dog (that I have papers for) and she came right up to me and yelled that he needed to leave I explained he was a service dog and she continued to be scared of him (he was up against me in between my legs sitting) and telling me to leave right away. she did it in front of the whole store and made me very uncomfortable even when I explained he’s a service animal and I had brought him there before. I’m now at Verizon in Saugus and he is in here with me with no problems i highly recommend going to SAUGUS instead. That’s not my first problem with this lady at the reading location.
