“Wonderful store with an outstanding collection of items curated by the owner. I can always find something great here, whether it’s a gift or something for our home. Highly recommended!”
“The Paper Mouse is a fun little stationery store. It’s fun to stop by occasionally to pick up something I haven’t seen before. They have all sorts of cards, stamps, drawing supplies, and general stationery-related gifts.
Parking is ok — just typical street parking. But once you get inside the shop, you get a good idea of what a whimsical place it is.
I went once, when they had a stamp demo event, and they let me keep the little page with the stamps. Events can get pretty crowded, so if you’re going just to shop, try to stop by on a non-event day.”
“I love this floor cloth. And the owner, Daren was so nice to work with. Even though it was custom made to fit my space, it arrived more quickly than I expected and Daren was very communicative and helpful!!”
“The Dedham Exchange is simply the BEST! Literally something for everyone here….from Simon Pearce to the cutest baby gifts around. My one stop shop! And the volunteers are so helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Such a fun experience! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to show me products that weren't even on display. I left with things that I loved (all Pokemon products). There are a ton of Studio Ghibli things, so definitely stop by if you like that. I was surprised to see that they had Ponyo merch. Haven't seen that anywhere!”
“If there is one place I could visit in all of Boston before I left Boston, it would be this store! It has the most hidden gems - ranging from transit merch to vintage maps about almost every place you can think of! It also doubles up as a great used books store! This place feels more like a museum than a store, and truly is the collection of a lifetime!”
“Kolbo is the most beautifully curated Judaica shop I have visited in the U.S. the team has great taste and a keen eye. This is not your bubbie’s Judaica shop. The stores is full of light and offers a combination of modern and traditions items, from kiddish cups to katubahs. Also a great collection of Jewish art and jewelry. Great vibe. Highly recommend.”
“I can honestly and proudly say I have been going to Proud Mary since I could count! ☺️ Everyone who works there is very special and warming. As soon as you enter the store you’re greeted by a warm smile and a very nice attitude!?Eileen, and everyone there will leave a lasting impression on you.
They are family to me. You will not make a mistake going to them and spending your hard earned money there, versus a big chain. Eileen and everyone there, works very hard to build friendships and lasting impressions on customers and friends!
As someone who has gone in there before, purely to just speak to them, I can Proudly say I will be a permanent customer and friend to them all!!!!
5/5 stars for this amazing business !! ?”

“I ordered several ornaments from Loft & Vine and I love them! They are adorable and such good quality. And the prices were so reasonable compared to other places I've shopped for ornaments. They shipped quickly and came securely packaged with pretty printed tissue paper. The owner included her business card as well. Loft & Vine is my new go-to place for gifts and seasonal items! They also have a great selection of Boston themed items that I have my eye on.”
“Love this place!! They have every book you’d ever seek on all ritual art subjects and great insight if you don’t know which to get. Their jewelry is gorgeous and handmade. I love every piece I’ve ever bought, even found matching crystal studs of the same crystal”

“On Centre always has the cutest trinkets, gifts, and clothes!! I especially love coming in and looking at their Jellycat collection, just for a pick-me-up (but I find it really hard to walk away without buying anything). Also, the staff are always super friendly!”

“Favorite place for special, creative gifts and excellent perfume you can't find at Sephora! I love that the fragrance brands at shake the tree change at least annually so I always find new ones that I hadn't seen before. The store buyer has excellent taste. Join their mailing list for events and special shopping occasions.”
“Bodhi Leaf ... Wow! An amazing Tibetan gift shop full of wonderful clothes, fabric wall hangings, inscence, jewlery, Buddhist items and more. The owner was wonderful to speak with and we made several purchases. We will be back to buy more when we visit Boston next time.”
“I’ve shopped here for years and my most treasured clothing comes from here! The women who work in the store are so sweet, friendly, and helpful. They always remember me when I come in. I miss the old days when they sold furniture, but I love the children’s section and have found some great home decorations in the current setup.”
“It's a lovely gift store, that's beautiful to explore, with several cute gifts. The staff is very friendly, although my only caution would be that the store doesn't have a ton of variety, which makes sense given its small size. Still, I'd recommend it as a place to browse, with the hopes that something might catch your eye.”
“I attended the fabric ornament-making workshop at Maxima Gift Center and absolutely loved it! We created beautiful handmade ornaments by pinning fabric onto foam balls, such a fun and relaxing process. Our instructor, Candace, was wonderful. She explained each step clearly and was right there to help whenever we got stuck.
I left with one finished ornament and a full kit to make another at home. Highly recommended!”
“I had a great experience at the Quincy Edible Arrangements. The store was clean and orderly and the staff was very helpful. They took their time with me and didn’t get frustrated with all my questions.”
“Katherine and Mary are my GOATS (Greatest of all time) please give them a raise they are the nicest people I’ve met, I got a jellycat guys and I was lowkey annoying but they still laughed and smiled with me!! #baddies, wait I just found out Katherine is the owner, so I say Google give them more 5 stars”
“Adorable gift shop full of lots of fun things anyone in your life would like! I love supporting this local business and local artists. I especially love the kids book selection”
“Dangerous for my wallet… so many pretty papers, stamps, and craft supplies to choose from! Quality is excellent and the staff always has solid creative ideas when you’re stuck. Perfect spot for unique cards, gift wrapping, and DIY project supplies. They offer workshops too which are fun for date nights or girls’ outings. Membership discounts help offset the splurge-worthy prices.”
“I visited looking for greeting cards, and was pleased to find an excellent selection. The store is the largest Paper Store I've ever seen, and I'll return whenever I need the types of products they offer.”
“Great place to find gifts for adults or children. They always have a new selection of goodies, always clean, vibrant colors, well organized. Price wise it's not a cheap place, but if you have a coupon you get in mail from them, you can actually score a great discount. I've bought jewelry pieces there, bath and body products, kids toys and crafts, housewarming gifts, all always well liked by recipients.”
“We went shopping for a gift with my 2yo today. Staff is friendly and informative. We love the lovely and extensive collection there! This is the kind of store that makes me want to be there instead of online shopping!”
“This store is so cute! Davis Sq if my favorite part of Somerville, it's very neighborly and this store encapsulates what I love most about the area! The workers are so nice, going so far as personally picking up some jewelry for me that was out of stock at this location at their sister store as I don't have a car. Will definitely be back, thanks!”

“One of my favorite stores to buy gifts (for others and for myself)! Unique, beautiful, fun, gifts at a reasonable price ranging from houseware to bags and jewelry; good for Father's Days, Mother's Day, housewarming, birthday, baby showers and any other gift-giving occasion!I also did the decoupage shell making class (as a birthday gift for my sister). It was a fun and unique way to spend a Sunday. And if you haven't seen the decoupage shells that Hilary makes, they are beautiful! I loved getting to make them ourselves.Hilary -- the store owner -- is fantastic! She is creative and friendly and makes a lot of the items herself.”
“Awesome facility!
Old mill building setup with furnace/kilns for classes in their actual workshop. Sale area when you walk in, next to a brewery!!
Plus other shops in this space.
Cool spot on the whole”
“This is a friendly gift shop with a wide selection of inexpensive primaiky Asian options. There are some Boston related things. There are also some beautiful artistic pieces. These are both ceramic and print in nature. Wheelchair accessibility is limited.”
“Stopped inn just to see what was new and Elizabeth never disappoints. So many great options for gifts so I. Need to get back and make a purchase soon. Thinking I may find the perfect baby shower gift.”
