“Wonderful shop in Salem historic district away from the bustle of downtown. Don't overlook this treasure! Loved the handcrafted gifts, not mass-produced. Was there in October and found a lovely witch doll for my mother (and me, eventually). Shop owner was very honest regarding shipping costs and assuring /demonstrating to me the doll would be small enough for my airline carry-on, saving me $$ on shipping. Would love to return and see what is there when it is not October.”

“This store is attached in the back to two other stores, so you can go to oak+moss, spruce home and roost if you are in a wheelchair. Very nice employees helped me go through the back hallway so I could appreciate all of what each store had. Everything was so nice and we definitely bought our share of items. I would highly recommend if you are in a wheelchair and need extra help.”

“We have been to Salem so many times, and somehow I never noticed this incredible shop until this past weekend, and now it is my new very favorite store! It is an absolute wonderland of beauty, and is filled with items to delight those of us with quirky little vintage souls. My whole family loved it so much that we stopped in, shopped, and returned a second time for a few more items when we were leaving. I'm already daydreaming about my next trip there so I can stockpile more whimsical wares!”
“I decided to hop over to Salem on a Sunday afternoon after a conference ended. It was a cold and rainy April day and lots of places had already closed but I saw this place had their lights on from a distance. I hopped through the ran and was so happy I did! It was such a quaint place with the friendliest owner and really cute stuff, not just decor but bath and skincare things too! I will definitely come back when I get to explore Salem on a longer visit.”

The pricing was really sharp considering the quality (I bought some crystals that would have been 2-3x the price if I bought them at home in LA). “Been coming here since I was about 13! My favorite shop in Salem. The layout has never changed either, it’s so nostalgic and classic. I will always come and look for something fun here. I do however wish they’d bring back the classic black leather journals- I got a new one here every summer when I was growing up. It was a fun salem tradition for me. I looked this year for nostalgic purposes and they didn’t have them anymore. Bummer! But many other great finds including vintage Halloween blow molds!”

They had souvenirs for all. Cutest shirts excellent Halloween decorations and all for really good prices.This would be one of my most recommended stores out of the group that I visited. “I didn’t buy anything here, but my sister bought a very cute hoodie. There’s lots of gift options at this store, so you could likely find souvenirs for pretty much anyone here. We browsed all the shops early and came back in the afternoon to actually buy things. This store looked great, but I already had my heart set on a few things I found elsewhere.”

“We happened to find Diehl Marcus & Co while in Salem in October. I have never really drank tea but was curious to try as they had such a variety. The employee (Luke) gave me recommendations and sent me home with 3 samples. I absolutely LOVE the Cottage Comfort and have now become a daily tea drinker. I have since started buying other products from them. I will be a life long customer all the way from MN! ?”
