I had an excellent experience at this UHaul location from start to finish. David was very kind and helpful during the pick-up of the trailer and made certain the lights worked and the hitch was securely fastened. He answered all of my questions and concerns, as it had been nearly 40 years since I last rented a cargo trailer from UHaul. I highly recommend this location in Salisbury.

Excellent service from this location, especially the manager. I had an issue related to the odometer reading on the truck I rented that was immediately resolved when I called in. My storage unit fee was also refunded since I had not closed it in time to avoid the monthly fee. I was treated like my concerns were valid and worth resolving.

Everyone i worked with was very nice and helpful. truck was clean and great big parking lot with adequate place for parking. highly recommend!

I received a truck that was on empty, I went back in and explained this to the employee who mentioned to just to put enough fuel in for what I would use. I put in $20 and brought the truck back on empty and I was charged $30 for fuel cost because the truck came back empty.

Staff is nice. They tend to accidently charge you for blankets when you don't use them. It's happened twice. But it was fixed both times quickly after a phone call. I wish I could return the truck to a different uhaul but there the only place that had a 26fter.

NEVER do business with U-Haul Moving and Storage of Salisbury, MA (1 Merrill Street).
Weeks ago I made an appointment to have a tow hitch put on my car in Salisbury. They offered June 4 at 11:00. I checked with the store from which I bought my new e-bike (Western Cycle in Seabrook) if that would be a good time for them to attach the hitch and have the bike ready. (They, by the way are a WONDERFUL shop with which to do business - please visit them if you are interested in e-bikes). Told that that time worked for the shop, I confirmed with U-Haul that the 4th would be great.
Got there today - and the bottom line from the horrible sales guy - was they expected me on another day and had no time to do a tow hitch today. I calmly explained that I had an appointment to have the toe hitch put on today and another appointment with the bike shop to get hitch installed and pick up the bike. Again I was told that they couldn't do a hitch today.
No acknowledgement of a mistake on their part, no apology. In fact, they made me think that I had messed up. I reminded the sales guy that I had to drive over 60 mikes to get there...was there anything that could be done(?). Nope.
The bike shop, only 4 miles away, was TOTALLY sympathetic, confirmed that they were indeed expecting me and that I had made the arrangement weeks ago. The totally WONDERFUL sales guys there, comped me a water bottle holder for the bike because they had given me a bad recommendation for the tow hitch.
So, even though there was NO FAULT on Western Cycle's behalf, they felt compelled to provide excellent customer service to their buyer. GET IT, U-HAUL??
By the way, I tried to post this review on the U-Haul site, but guess what....you have to jump through hoops to enter a review and, apparently they get to review and decide whether or not to post. Hmmmmm....It's a pretty big facility there in Salisbury. They don't really need the business, I guess.

Although the store opens at 7 am, don't expect to be served for the first half hour. Although the manager sped in at 6:59 am, he needed to first finish his cigarette, spends the next 20 minutes in the restroom, turn on his computer, and THEN have a second cigarette while waiting for his computer to boot up. Although a female employee was working, she was unable to check us out as she was not familiar with the computer. This location is unprofessional and will leave you extremely frustrated and angry.

Called and spoke to John at this location and he went over and above the call of duty by actually mailing a receipt of a tow dolly that I purchased from them in 2021. John is the assistant manager and is a reliable dependable guy that will not let you down. This location is highly recommended for whatever service that U-Haul does provide for it's customers.
