“I'd like to thank all the staff at DeWitt Animal Hospital for being so great!!!! Especially the vet tech. It was our first visit to DeWitt. I brought my German Shepherd puppy in for his first puppy visit. He was very nervous a. He was barking and growling aggressively. That was until she pulled out the cheese whiz!!! He calmed right down. He became the puppy I get to see everyday. By the end of his visit he didn't want to leave. Thank you to all the staff for being so caring!!!! “We took our kitty bucky. He was an abandoned and traumatized kitty from his past life of 4.5 years then he was dumped at a shelter with his 5 brothers and sisters and when my sister and I adopted him he wouldn't eat for 2weeks or come out from under the bed. We finally got him to come out from under the bed and he wanted to live now that he had something to live for. But after all that he has extreme anxiety and ibd ,irritable bowel disorder. So we took him to animal health center in plainville they were the kindest bunch of veterinarian doctors and nurses I have ever met especially her last name is Trapani! Bucky was so petrified he couldn't move through the whole visit and all of the staff there were very, very patient and kind with him. They know their stuff!!! Thank, you animal health center!!!!! “All four of my dogs go to JM Pet Vet for their healthcare needs, and they are great! This review however is about the retail store that is attached to the clinic. My labrador is 10 years old and has been struggling pretty severely with arthritis in her hips. After her laser treatment this week I stopped in at the retail store to look for salmon oil. They have an amazing selection so I was sure they'd have what I needed. The best part though, was meeting a super knowledgeable and helpful animal nutritionist who is on staff! She gave me fabulous advice about supplements for my dog, nutrition advice for helping her to lose some weight, and overall support about ways to help my dog feel better as quickly as possible. Her name is Crystal (the nutritionist, not my dog!), and if you need nutrition advice to help your pet live their longest and happiest lives, you should make a point to go by and speak with her. I'm happy I did!”

“Wonderful caring staff. Dr Segaloff and his assistant Alex are wonderful. Front desk reception staff - awesome. If you find yourself unfortunately having to be at a veterinary oncology center this is the place to be. My 10-year-old Shetland sheepdog is being treated for squamous cell carcinoma inside of his nostril with electrochemotherapy. He went in at 8:00 a.m. and came out at 3:00 p.m. bopping down the ramp like nothing happened. We're hoping for complete cure. We know we've provided the best care for him that we can. ?”

“I can’t even write enough amazing things about Dr. D'Esopo! My pup has potentially come down with the new strain of kennel cough and I have been worried sick. “Our 17 year old kitty Timone reached the end of her life this morning. The doctor and entire staff at Tufts were incredibly compassionate and provided the best environment for our family to be with her as she went to sleep (purring) for the last time. A sad day, but also the most beautiful way to be with our fur baby and say goodbye. Thank you Tufts.”

“They were very sensitive in telling us our dog was terminally ill and told us of the options and consequences open to us. They allowed time and space while there to come to a decision. When it was decided to put it down they were generous with their time before and after the procedure so we could say goodbye to our friend and soul partner.”

Staff were friendly, attentive, thorough and clear with all consents, instructions and expectations in regard to all appointments, exams and procedures. Provided all needed medications and answered all questions. Clean environment promoting health safety. My pets tumor was removed in a timely manner with a positive outcome. Services are somewhat costly but everything is these days. Thank you Dr. Donohue and ladies.”
“Until today a visit to the vet was riddled with anxiety for both my dog and I. Both our tech Megan and the veterinarian, Dr. Huffenus were beyond patient with my fearful guy, they even sat on the floor with him! By the end of the visit they were able to complete the wellness check, vaccinations and even drew blood without stressing out my dog or utilizing the muzzle I’ve had to use at previous vets. I was in complete disbelief! consider us lifetime patients.”

“I absolutely love this vet, and am so surprised to see such a low rating. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences here with both the techs and vets we've seen. Yes, their prices are high, but when it comes to my pet I would rather pay for top notch service than budget for something cheaper. I have called numerous times just with questions about if my dog should be seen and have been told what to do over the phone rather than come in for an appointment. If they really did only care about money, they could've easily advised me to come in and collect. However they truly care about the animals they see. The techs all love my dog and always want to make her feel comfortable (she gets very nervous) and have found their care to be excellent. I would recommend this vet to anyone!”
“After a less than ideal experience with a our last vet my fiancé and I brought our cat here, and honestly we were desperate for someone who understood anxious cats. From the start we had an asking experience, I mentioned that our guy was a little spicy and the vet tech said “It’s nothing I can’t handle!” Which put our minds at ease instantly.After a check over, Dr. McMillan called me in to go over our cats history in depth. This was such a kind and caring gesture that showed me they truly care about the whole picture and work with a total understanding of the cats issues.
