They even have young women working there who will be happy to help you find what you are looking for. I just returned from the store and the woman who worked with me was quite knowledgeable and knew where everything was and told me customer buying habits. “I bought a DeWalt skillsaw from this carr hardware back at the beginning of the summer, but then didn't use it for a few months and when I did, I found out that my fence was faulty and it was cutting everything slightly askew. It had been more than 90 days and I didn't have the receipt, but as a rewards member, they effortlessly looked me up, found my receipt and swapped out the unit for a functional one, with no fuss. Something I assumed would be an absolute nightmare hassle and mess to deal with, was made so easy and efficient for me, that I could never recommend these people enough. 10/10 best customer service ever.”

“Today was my first visit and it did not disappoint. I was up from Connecticut to do a small project for my daughter and needed a small piece of lumber. Herringtons in Sheffield let me look through scraps and then one of their employees cut it to size for me. And then, no charge! If you need building materials, check out Herringtons. You won’t be disappointed, but I cannot promise no charge.”
