“I have had the best I could have expected from Somerville Dry Cleaners! I had a Prom Gown altered, a twist of design, challenging for sure. Price given (estimate) up front- was less, suggestions given and accepted, listened well and date promised- earlier and to top it off, smile & laughing, all present. I was very satisfied for sure along with a small bonus of my request ...blew me away. Thank you Van!”

“I do other peoples laundry at the laundromat for a living. I do other peoples through an app so I travel all over to using laundromats from Plymouth to Somerville. This laundromat is incredibly clean for starters. It is coin operated BUT you can send them funds via Zelle or Venmo where they give quarters in return. When I first arrived at the laundromat the attendant who I later learned name is Yo Ling(spelling may be incorrect) helped me bring the roughly 200lbs of laundry and my supplies in. She was very kind the entire time I was there. I have been too many laundromats with much laundry. Laundry attendants have stood over me sucking their teeth wanting me to hurry up and get out of the establishment so they could go home early. Yo Ling actually seemed grateful that I was there the entire time and the did what no one has ever done. She helped me fold! I was so grateful. My job as a traveling laundry professional who uses my gas, pays for laundry materials and washers and dryers pays me literal crumbs. To have someone help me fold and actually take pleasure in helping me truly made my week. I am a very community oriented person and Yo Ling is the first person in a long time that I came across that showed up for me in that moment with no expectations. I truly wish I could speak Mandarin so that we could’ve talked more. I love to learn people. I am truly grateful and highly recommend this laundromat and will absolutely go there whenever I am in the area.”

“reliable laundry spot for years. Usually no personnel on site. pay by card system. Decent prices for the area. It had been beginning to look a little run-down... but as of July 2026 it's under new management who seem committed cleaning the place up a little?”

“Unreal customer service, just incredible people. Of the 2-3 times I’ve called I’m always talking to someone who is friendly and knows that they’re doing. Tonight my pickup was a little late and I emailed rather than calling, and they called me within probably 30 seconds of me hitting send to say they’d gotten my email and to provide an update. The laundry service itself is perfect too. You estimate the weight but they charge you on the real weight. It doesn’t sound like a big deal, but the fact that they charged me less than the estimate shows they’re honest too! Tremendous experience every time from start to finish.”

“Update 10/3: [Ok, so I'm updating my review to 4-stars b/c regardless of how expensive life is right now, this place is still open 7 days a week until 11pm with ample parking, next to Star Market-- open until (10pm 7 days a week) which is absurdly convenient! And the machines may be half working, but it's still cheap (like 1/2 the price -- cheap), clean enough and you can wait in your car and literally watch your laundry. Physically. Like in the machine. Enough said. Oh, and the change machine will work as long as you don't give up.. and the bill is somewhat dry plus mostly intact.]** Please please if you work there or own ISL and read this, people do read these and the machines and especially the W:D ratio is getting worse with everything broken lately! And God bless you for fixing the change machine. **Hours are good and it's always empty off-peak. Machines work ok and it's very inexpensive.I'm giving 3 stars because I rely on this place to just throw 7 or 8 (normal home-sized) loads of laundry into the car at 8pm and get home 3 hrs later with all clean clothes and sheets, etc...And the quarter machine was broken last week and NO ONE just gives out $25-30 in quarters these days. The folks next door at Star laughed at me when I asked (to be expected, lately). So putting 80# of dirty laundry back in the car and driving around trying to find another place was absurd.”

“Because our washing machine was broken, I used this laundromat. My favorite point for this place was the existence of multiple washing and drying machine. Although this place isn’t allowed for card payment so I needed to prepare cash, it was fine because there is an exchange machine.”

“My first time here I didn't encounter a single employee and just kind of wandered around for a few minutes. For the self service machines they use a pay card system. You buy a card from the machine and load cash on to it. They have smaller and larger washing machines, the smallest machine says 20 lbs and is 5.49. There is a 45 lb machine for 7.99. the 60 lbs machine is 10.49 and the 80 lbs machine is 13.49. There are 2 different size dryers one is .52 cents the other is .69 cents. They give you 10 minutes for that. There are a handful of machines out of order I imagine that's somewhat common with laundromats. Something that bothered me was that the restroom was out of order. It also bothered me that the seating was mostly broken. You can buy laundry detergent and fabric softener here. There is a dollar tree a few doors down I usually get laundry detergent there to save a few dollars.”

“So glad Carolina is back! She keeps this laundry mat clean! Machines don't smell, floor is clean, tops of machines don't have 1/2" layer of dust. Even the ceiling fans don't have tons of dust and cobwebs on them. Small but efficient laundry mat that also offers drop off service!”

“This is my favorite place to do my laundry when I'm in the area for work. Machines work good and the price is low. Dryers heat very well and they have on site person to wash and dry your clothes (cost is available upon request) if you don't have time. I was in and out in no time. I purchased a card and loaded money on it and I saved the card with the balance on it and it doesn't expire. Also they are open late.”
