About Somerville Theatre
The Somerville Theatre is a great local, small, intimate, and beautifully old theater. It has multiple screens showing classics, Kaiju, and new releases. The venue is usually used for movies but also hosts performances. Acoustics are good and the staff is friendly and helpful. It supports small alternative productions. The snacks and local beverage options are great. Not all seats have great viewing angles, however, and some balcony seats are too short to see over the rows in front. It is recommended to arrive early to scope out seats for general admission shows.
A very cool old school theater, with modern tech. They have a wide range of movies they show, from current main stream hits to indie films to cult films and re-releases of older popular films, with friendly employees and tasty popcorn.
