The Brattle Theatre is a historic and incredible Harvard Square institution, consistently showing awesome films. It is run by friendly folks who love cinema and is considered the best theatre of all time and a hidden gem. It offers consistently excellent programming that covers a wide variety of genres, decades, and countries, from 4K restorations of critically acclaimed films to grindhouse 35mm showings. It keeps film tradition and love alive with special events like a Twin Peaks marathon and an annual Jaws showing on July 4th. The Brattle is a wonderful, welcoming, inclusive, and accessible theater for people of all backgrounds and abilities, which is refreshing. It offers affordable tickets, accessible seating, and a safe environment. It plays the movies people actually want to see and movies they never knew they needed to see, including midnight showings. The theater provides a dynamite experience, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy. It is a space for people to come together and experience the power of film, and people are lucky to have it. It is highly recommended.

Older theater, but charming and comfortable enough seats. Went for an event for the Harvard Book Store and it was the perfect size. Excellent location.
