I found The Federal right in Hyannis and thought it would be good to work with someone local instead of some bank or broker from the internet by phone and email.My first conversation with Bob vetted my judgement. He answered all my initial questions. Also, the bank will be there for our heirs to ask questions when the time comes even tho they'll be dealing with the loan servicer.We worked thru email and text. We met with him in person and he came to the house to do paperwork with us. He used an appraiser who knows the area well. He was there thru closing and he's still there. I have a question right now after receiving our first statement, so I'm going to shoot him an email. On top of it all, he's a really nice guy.I can't recommend Bob and The Federal more highly, especially if you're at all skittish about reverse mortgaging your home.”
