Hobby Shops near Southborough, MA

“The staff are very helpful and display the true Scouting spirit. I had to get patches sewn onto my son's uniform and they finished the job ahead of schedule. Bravo.”

“Excellent sewing store and repair shop. The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to share their expertise—it's like chatting with a friend who genuinely loves what they do. The selection of fabrics and threads is fantastic, and they carry everything you need for any project, big or small. They diagnose and service new and old machines and clearly know what they’re doing. They know their customers by name, which is really nice. I’m looking forward to taking some classes and learning to sew! Plus, the store is conveniently located next door to a charming candy/old New England general store and an excellent diner—perfect for making a day of it! Highly recommend!”

“I would LOVE to give a positive review to this place, as it is a small business and local to where I often need party supplies! I have tried to place orders with them twice - today and a year ago - for large orders of balloons (the first time was a bouquet delivery, and this time is for a large arch). Balloon arches are very pricey ($250 + $100 deposit + $20 delivery fee), but I am happy to support small businesses rather than the big corps, like Party City, etc. Unfortunately, Sugar Snap has been unable to accommodate either request for me! So disappointing! Sadly, they are not open Mondays and could not accommodate a balloon arch order I need for a Tuesday in two weeks because they open at 10am on Tuesdays. Again, I wish I could give you my business, but you have not been open when I need your services! Perhaps you would consider paying someone to come in an hour early to fulfill $300 orders? I know that times are tough and people don't want to work, but I'm sorry I could not order from you! :( I will try again, though!”

“A truly spectacular experience. The selection is great and the staff are super helpful (Brenda especially, thank you so much for your help!!!). 100% would recommend.”

“This has been added to my list of places to check out when I'm in need of holiday decor. I went in the other day looking for ornament storage bins, and in addition to having a 70% off Christmas items section, they had a large Easter section right when you walked in, a decent selection of Valentine's Day decor and even a small area of Saint Patrick's Day stuff out. And to be honest, a lot of the stuff was really cute! This store is clean, things are never too out of sorts on the shelves, and there's plenty of parking since it's located in the outdoor mall, Shopper's World. It can be hard finding a store rep if you have a question about finding anything, or if they have something in stock, etc. When I came in, I only saw 1 sales rep and they were working the register so I had to wait in line just to ask a question. All in all, Michael's is pretty solid!”
