“I can't remember which Save-A-Lot this was because I went to one in Massachusetts with my sister and I couldn't believe great product there and their produce section was huge compared to the one here in Virginia. The one hearing Virginia is very disappointing and their meats in Virginia are twice as high that's the ones in Massachusetts I just couldn't believe it. But great customer service and that is what I always look for that is what keeps me going back to a store over and over and over again the price of the products if I don't like it I'll go shop somewhere else for that product. But I do get some great priced products at Save-A-Lot. Now this store in Massachusetts was immaculate I mean really really clean. Virginia not so much”

“This store has been closed for at least 6 to 8 weeks because of no AC and I guess they also closed in the winter for the same problem with the heat. We really need a dollar store open in this area so I hope they're not going to be closed for Good. Seems like they need to update the heating and air conditioning system so I don't know if they own the building or if they pay rent on it but they're losing a lot of money by being closed for so long which is a shame for both them and the customers who rely on them.”

I just want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank the Family Dollar employees who were working on Easter Sunday. It’s not easy giving up a holiday to serve the community, and it’s even harder doing it with the level of patience, grace, and professionalism I witnessed.
Despite dealing with some difficult customers, the staff kept their composure, stayed respectful, and managed to maintain a light, welcoming mood throughout the store. Their teamwork, positive energy, and willingness to help didn’t go unnoticed. It made a big difference in the shopping experience that day, and I truly appreciate each of them for showing up and showing out.
