“Smith and Son Jewelers Springfield, MAI'm not the best person to ask about this store. But I guess my experience there has been something that they would want people to know about. Years ago my mother had done business with them when we lived in Forest Park and from time to time we used them for small simple jewelry for my wife. When I got married we had our diamond ring done there. When I lost weight I had my wedding ring re-sized. I'm totally ignorant of all things jewelry and they know that but still they don't talk down to you there. Recently, and this has been happening a lot lately, my watch battery died. I live in Chicopee, and I'm sure there are jewelers around Chicopee that could help me with this issue. But Smith and Sons' price is right and I just trust them and often times they drop everything and do it right then and there. This most recent time I was in the area and I parked at WONG WOK hoping they wouldn't tow my car. I went in, usually the guy in the wheelchair helps me but this time is an older man. He immediately started grabbing his tools. Then I told a joke without even thinking about it asking if I could watch him change my watch battery. We all laughed and he said, "I wouldn't be out here if I didn't want you to watch!" We chatted about the new lithium battery packets and how difficult they are to open for him and an assistant helped him out. Then with his tiny magnifying glass he popped the watch back open and boom badabing it was over. I paid the cheap bill and walked out knowing for the next couple months I didn't need to look at my phone anymore for the time. I could just raise my wrist. Thanks Smith and Son Jewelers!”

They did say it was cracked and wanted to charge me $600!! I slept in it and told them not to touch it, picked it up and brought it to Gold Trader and The Diamond Shop on 1360 Allen St. Springfield! Spoke to Mike he showed it to his jeweler. It was not cracked charged $45! If you ever want good quality Jewelry Please go there! Their Kindness is Overwhelming!!”

“So I needed a power generator for an upcoming storm, all the big box stores were sold out, FB marketplace was sold out, I call this store and he told me he had one available , I met the owner there and there was a line at the door looking for power generators, he said he only had the one and that it was reserved for me as I had called beforehand. He was great to do business with, awesome price and 4 years later, I still have the generator and it works fine. I will do business with them again.”
