“I’m incredibly grateful to have found RiverDog. From the very first phone call with the Peabody staff, it was obvious this place operates on a level of care, professionalism, and genuine love for dogs that goes far beyond anything I’ve experienced before.
My German Shepherd, Wesley, is four years old and has enough energy to power a small village. He started daycare at four months old because there was simply no way I could wear him out on my own. His previous daycare even trained him to run on a treadmill — that’s how intense he is. But despite all of that, they never managed to truly exhaust him, and the experience there became increasingly unpleasant for both of us.
RiverDog changed everything.
Not only is Wesley excited to go, he comes home happy, calm, and so tired that he melts into the couch and sleeps through the night. His obedience has improved, too — every command, every bit of training just clicks better because he’s mentally and physically fulfilled. And the fact that they don’t crate the dogs is a huge bonus. You can feel the difference in how confident, social, and at ease he is.
He adores his friends here — both the four-legged and the two-legged ones — and I never once worried when he stayed for an entire week while I was in Florida. That kind of trust is priceless.

We came back this past weekend to purchase a bulk order of treats to give as party favors and boy do we miss it. The variety of hand made treats and options on how to buy (a buffet of treats to build your own bag, 12oz bags of training treats, 5lb bulk bags, etc...) makes Polkadog one of a kind. “Love this place!! My dog has been going to No Bones for over 3yrs and just loves it. Some reviews are disappointing because I've had nothing but a great experience with them. My LabX goes home tired every day, the staff is awesome walking them at least 4x a day and it shows. Some would say it's small but I've been to a few other daycare in the area and not much of a difference, plus you're able to see them in the open not hidden!! They definitely go above & beyond making beds for them every day making them happy and content!”
“This was our first time trying Dog Eat Cake as our local “barkery” closed. It did not disappoint! We drove an hour to pick up Max’s cake and it was totally worth it. The design was fun and unique (not your typical bone shape with minimal details). The cake was airy and moist. Max and his brother Leo loved it. It’s the best dog cake we have ever gotten! Dog Eat Cake will be our go to for both our pups!”

Groomer stayed very late as he needed to be shaved down [nice ruff around face] looked fabulous! Inexpensive and no other places would accept him due to his size [and he wasn't That Big]
Without them I would have been Toast!

“I'm reviewing only for the grooming service. I had a really bad experience at PetSmart that left my Cavalier KC traumatized and in the ER; you can imagine I was pretty anxious in taking my baby back to a new place. Daniella is the only groomer there so she personally takes care of each dog from beginning to end. I explained all that had happened in the past and she was super understanding, texted and kept me updated throughout the service until the end plus my doggie looked so fluffy, cute and well groomed! I'm definitely going back to her! The price is also very reasonable so a plus on that as well! Thank you Daniella!”
