A woman with a cool Irish accent was so patient and kind with me on the phone while I asked her to look up several different sku # to see what they had in stock. When I arrived, the same woman, Rachel, was just as kind, patient and thorough in person as she was on the phone. Jess, the woman who rang me up, was super friendly and kind. She engaged with my 6 month old son who I was carrying and made him smile. When Rachel and Brian were loading my purchases onto my trailer, Brian and I engaged about the device he used to bring the toolboxes outside, he was also kind and friendly. I had a wonderful experience with this purchase, and it was also my birthday, which made the experience even better! I'd make this my go to HFT if it wasn't so far from my home. “I went into Richmond Hardware today to find some mechanical bolts and nuts to replace the broken ones on my collapsible camping chair. I was met by the manager/owner(?) who paged an employee to assist me in selecting the proper length and width of the bolts and nuts. Matt examined the broken piece and selected a proper replacement bolt for each of the broken pieces. I thought that I would be spending my afternoon with pliers and a wrench. But to my surprise, Matt attached the bolts and tightened the nuts. I definitely recommend Richmond Hardware for their courteous employees and expert service. Thank you.”

“Amazing! Not in 40 years have I experienced such a professional environment to purchase homeowner landscape equipment. Although their showroom initially appears to be geared to commercial customers, their staff and their knowledge of homeowner concerns are immediately addressed by their friendly staff. From the moment I entered the showroom I got the feeling that regardless of whether you were there to purchase a $5,000 generator or a $250 leaf blower, they treated you professionally and with completeness. Anyone leaving a negative review regarding lack of attentiveness or not handling service issues immediately should reconsider and cut them some slack as they are dealing with "post-COVID" conditions with a lack of skilled labor. Just like the hospitality and food & beverage industry, everyone is dealing with it. “These guys are awesome. I'm a DIY and they took the time to make sure I got everything I needed and all the right parts. They even went out of their way to give me some tips but most of all they were gentlemen and very professional. I will drive out of my way to Dedham from now on. I see some bad reviews, I dont understand. My guess is people went during their rush when all the plumbers and contractors were there. I went during that time, early in the morning too but I had enough sense to see they were extremely busy helping the people that literally pay their bills so I left and came back when things settled down. I wouldn't expect them to drop everything to assist me, a potentially one time customer spending $200.Thanks”

“I'm writing this review specifically to give kudos to Derek Rock who delivered a huge load of lumber to my house. Derek was put in a tough situation where the driveway where the delivery could be placed was needed for a dumpster instead. There were not many places to put the load for a small house on a small street. He was able to suggest out of the box ideas and was able to expertly and quickly place all the huge pallets that took up nearly every foot of available space on the front of my property. He was very careful to cause as little damage to our lawn and bushes as possible. I am very grateful for Derek and the care he treated my property as if it were his own. Thanks so much!”
