Jill the pharmacist is absolutely amazing! She is friendly and thorough! She is helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. One of my medications wasn’t available so she was able to find all the nearby locations which had it available and help me out!

Rude clerks and pharmacy staff. Store, but particularly the pharmacy, is short staffed. Pharm tech answering questions about a specific drug interaction and giving the pt. incorrect information.. Manager inept and unable to follow directions for computer process for a particular health care to pay for OTC merch. Attitude was, “too bad, so sad, see ya!” Went to Walgreens, no problem.

This CVS has chosen to partner with United Health and their U-Card program. This program extends a $50 quarterly benefit for OTC products that can be purchased at CVS as well as other stores. Tried to use the card at Swansea CVS and was told they could not get it to work. So, I payed out of pocket. It worked fine at other stores and online. When I got home, I called United Health and the card was fully loaded and working. I went back to CVS and spoke with the store manager. She said the cashier knew how and so did she, if there was another glitch. There was. One that lasted 45 minutes of trying to use the card which we found out, when they called their help line, they were using incorrectly. The cashier had never seen or used one, the manager could not do it either, and a passing cashier who wasn't working and "knows everything" couldn't either. Actually they were never able to put the card in so that it worked; even after calling their CVS helpline. Three people including the manager tried. Ok, so I left and was easily able to use the card at CVS in Somerset. The worst part of this is the manager tried to deflect the blame onto the insurance company and told me, "Well, I'm not responsible for the insurance company." No you're not. However, if your company accepts this program and partners with it, you are responsible for training your employees and yourself on how to use it. You are responsible. The store itself is clean and tidy and clerks are for the most part fine. The pharmacy is understaffed and again the techs range from well trained to I don't know and I don't care. Hours are also short with an 8pm closing during the week and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. If you need to speak with a pharmacist make sure you set aside an hour as the wait is long. Good, clean place to buy sundries and candies, use self checkout and leave. If you need any interaction beware.

The store is fine, but like most drug stores, they tend to run out of high demand products. I only use them as a convenience store, and order my necessary OTC items from Amazon.

If I could give a zero rating to CVS I would. Don't ever depend on them for getting any test results back on time, back when Covid tests were required for travel, CVS was a huge let down and almost caused us to miss an international flight. Their prices are very expensive and their customer service sucks.

I want to start off by saying how great the pharmacy is. The techs are always helpful and friendly. Yesterday I was there to make an exchange with the front store. The clerk was very rude. She snapped at me several tunes doing the process making me feel very uncomfortable. She treated me like I was stupid when in the end she was wrong and I had paid cash for the item. These type of people reflex poorly on the rest of the hard working staff

This review pertains to the pharmacy- I always have a good experience with this location. They are very friendly and help the customer whenever there is an issue...this goes for a few of the employees. Today I had to leave a voicemail for a call back to get a few prescriptions filled and got a call back about a hour or so later...again super helpful!

Stephane in the Pharmacy is amazing, she checked on a product, let me know where it was in stock and even kept an eye on when it was available to order and called me back within a few hours. Above and beyond, so appreciated.

I live in Florida most of the year but spend a couple of months in RI/SE MA too. So, as I do all the time in FL I got a 40% off one item coupon sent to my CVS ExtraCare card. I picked up some Pronamel toothpaste (Buy One, Get One 50% off) and a 12 pack of CVS disposable razors. I go to the counter and it doesn't get approved!! WHY?!?! I ask the young kid behind the counter what the problem is and he is clueless. So I overpay for the 3 items and go home. I go online and send a message to CVS Corporate (I think) and get an email response from a guy named Michael Souza. He is supposedly fairly high up on the CVS corporate totem pole. He gives me a (508) area code phone number to call him. I am surprised as the automated answering system tells me "Thank you for calling CVS in Foxboro." I try getting to Michael Souza to no avail. I then spend about 20 minutes trying to fit my complaint onto their 1,000 character comment/complaint page. After completing so that it fits... "that system is inoperable at present" or b******* to that effect. I was raised in East Providence, RI which might be 20 miles from CVS Corporate HQ's in Woonsocket. I guess when I get pissed off enough I'll grab a dozen disabled, spinal cord injured veterans like myself (most in their wheelchairs) and we will go picket CVS HQ's. So, they can take their "40% off coupons and put them where the SUN DON'T SHINE!" Stick a fork in me... I AM DONE WITH CVS! Walgreen's will get all my business. When I return to FL I'll go into the stores I frequent there and tell the managers why I will no longer be doing business with them. Maybe CVS Corporate will listen to them! In a word I call CVS...
