“I visited around 9:30 AM on September 29, and the gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally kind and demonstrated true professionalism. I came in with a somewhat complicated mailing issue, and thanks to his expertise, the problem was resolved clearly and efficiently. “I visited this post office this morning to process my passport paperwork and get my photo taken. The gentleman behind the counter was so sweet and kind. He was patient with me and helped me choose the correct way to apply for my passport. I've been to 2 other post offices about this (not for myself) and neither of them were as kind and thorough as he was. Thank you, grey mustachioed man, for making my morning!”
“The staff at this post office are kind. Unlike Dartmouth on Faunce Corner lol. I do wish they had a direct line like other reviewers. It's ridiculous that USPS only puts a general number when our questions are obviously quick and for the local office, i.e. checking that the package is actually there for pickup.”

“I don't know why all these bad reviews. I'm handicapped in a wheelchair and the staff here has always been very helpful. Always have a pen that I can use, also in the back there's 2 tables both of which have pens. Never had an issue getting a money order always have them. Great customer service at least with me.”

“Everyone at this branch is the nicest. Always smiling and asking how they help. Our regular Carrier, Kathy who does Purchase st. is always so pleasant. Knocks on the door if the box is too big and always follows up with certified or registered mail the next day. We get 5 star service here. Thank you everyone.”
“I just want to give the biggest shout out to Lou for all of his help, kindness, and patience he just gave me to mail my package overseas. He was very professional, friendly, and gave me advice that helped make the process smoother and more efficient on both our ends, all while being quite timely. I honestly cannot say how thankful I am, especially being from out of town, for the experience I just had and would recommend this post office to anyone needing postal service. Also, a thank you, if you ever read this, to the gentleman who offered his assistance in helping me to package up my box for shipping. Everyone's kindness was def a true testament to the character of this area, one in which I appreciate and cannot be more thankful for.”
“I don’t know the delivery man’s name but he went above and beyond to deliver 3 boxes of heavy books to my upstairs door. He even put them inside my door when I greeted hm . I live on Anthony Rd , Portsmouth. I told him he deserves 5 stars so here it is and again thank you so much!”

“EDIT: Changing my previous rating because I filed a complaint and they immediately took care of it. Systems were down so they couldn’t scan my package all is well. Thank you so much for your quick response even calling during off hours. STORY: Dropped off a package at 8am with a blood sample that already had a tracking number on it. They never scanned it and put it in the back. Tried called customer service no help. Crossing my fingers it isn’t lost.”

“Whoever was answering the front desk phones today (3/4) in the Swansea MA post office is an amazing human being! I accidentally put in the wrong address to ship two items and didn’t realize it until they were almost being delivered!
I called and not only was he extremely polite but he took down my information and helped me with the problem! One of the packages already arrived no problem! Thank you so much!
USPS has been under so much pressure and I’m sure they deal with rude phone calls and problems all day... but despite that this person still helped me solve a problem very important to me in such a kind manor and I am so thankful!
