“This post office is great. The people are friendly, our mailman gives our dog biscuits and plays ball with her, and I have never had any problem with the service. They hold our mail when we're away, and always get it right. Our mailman even took the "away" slip for us once because we were late getting it in. All around a nice group of professional people.”
“My experience here was amazing! Judy and Leo helped me out even though I came in near closing and was inexperienced in shipping packages. I was unable to get the right box at the time and they found an even better box that fit my package perfectly and gave me a great rate. “I've had a couple of decent experiences at this post office but, I wanted to acknowledge a mail carrier. I lived in Stoneham for 5ish years and I recently moved to Woburn after getting divorced. Today (a Saturday) my old mail carrier from my apartment on Stevens Street in Stoneham came to my apartment in Woburn (I left a forwarding address) to check on some mail addressed to our old business to see if I forgot to forward the business mail. I truly appreciate the time he took to come and check with me about this and I'm very grateful for the extra effort. He could have easily just returned the mail to the sender but he went above and beyond to make sure he did the right thing with it. Very very impressed.”
“Let's be real the old lady at the front desk should've retired ~10 years ago. Her bad attitude just gives places like this a bad vibe. Just hire an underpaid college kid, even they'll have more manners. With people already asking to defund the post office this lady isn't really helping her case lol. She told me to call the state department if I had questions about my passport? Seems to me like someone with 60+ years experience working there would know the simple process of filling a passport form out”

“I've used this post office for years and the staff is uniformly courteous and helpful. Not sure why some of the reviews are negative. There is a long wait at peak hours (e.g. Noon) and before the holidays so they may be a bit understaffed. But that isn't the fault of the employees. They are a good bunch.”

“The mailboxes in here are very nice. The detail in the craftsmanship is something you do not see often. However this location is in great walking distance to the local business in the area. When there’s a line it just requires for a little patience but once your at the counter the customer service reps are very full of personality but they answer all your questions Whether you need a book of stamps, purchasing a card, shipping a package or inquiry. It’s a very secure location.”

“I had a very positive experience with Postmaster Chuck Nichols of the Lawrence Post Office earlier this year. I have been trying to find a place to post this review.I had a package that was supposed to arrive in Europe in January. For some reason, it was shipped back to North Reading and then attempted to Europe again, getting as far as NY and then finally shipped back to MA ending up at the Lawrence Post Office, which is not where I had shipped it. Nonetheless, Postmaster Nichols located the package at his facility, which was not easy. I learned through tracking that this is where it ended up and Mr. Nichols searched his inventory until he found it.Additionally, he shipped it back to Europe for me free of charge. All of this occurred over the phone without my having to come in. It eventually arrived at its destination a few months late, but probably would have been lost forever without the help of Mr. Nichols. Needless to say, I am very grateful to him. For this reason and the fact that Mr. Nichols oversees this facility, I recommend the Lawrence Post Office highly!”

“I enjoy going to this location... I was new to the area and the desk attendant Bob was very kind and welcoming. He always has such an energetic personality that almost allows you to forget anything else that's wrong with your day. Overtime his demeanor has been unwavering. He genuinely is kind and I always look forward to his exuberance when I come to this location. Jim is also kind and often has candy. Overall I would recommend this location most importantly because they also pick up their phone which saves you a trip if you can have you a question clarified over the phone. I just hope their Self Service/P.O Box portion was 24 hours like some or opened later”
