“Exceptionally clean and with a decent selection of quality meats, poultry and many frozen items. Nice selection of Portuguese food and wines. It would be even better if they had a basket of Portuguese rolls, to make it a one stop shop. Possibly could get a daily wholesale-delivery from a local baker?”

“The fruit freshness used to be better. A lot of Strawberries are already rotten. Bananas usually are always fresh. Price is excessive but they usually have a broader range of items and relatively small lines when is time to pay.”

“Easy parking. Very expensive and not much in choice of products. The produce is AWFUL, very often moldy vegetables and fruit. Not my favorite store and definitely only go for convenience.”

“Uncle Bob's is a variety store selling many products. They sell milk, soda, juice, non perishables, paper towels, toilet paper, gift bags & cards, US, Portuguese flags, candy bars to snack food. There is coffee to go counter, cigarettes, lottery, scratch tickets & an ATM. They have many brands of imported beers and wines behind over 15 refrigerated doors and free standing shelves of wines. There is a redemption center and a small gift craft section containing Tia Maria's Portuguese Seasonings and her new cookbook, Portuguese Ceramic Roosters and cookware. They also sell gift box wines and liquors ready to go. A nice store to browse and find a gift for someone or yourself. ?”

“Big Y is a great store for groceries, bottle redemption, pizza and seafood takeout. The deli case is well stocked with meats and cheese. The container macaroni, potato salads and pickles are pick up ready. Love the soup counter. The Big Y pizza tastes good and the prices are less than local restaurants and it tastes kind of like Papa Gino pizza. Watch the Big Y sales and take a visit. ? ? ? ? ?”

“I used to own an iguarana for a pet. It was adorable. Soda of choice for the Brazilians. It's a really excellent product which I have been loving ever since I first tried it in Brazil but one person I know loves that way more than I do and that person is named Barbie. This is one of my favourite sodas even though it's a little on the sweet side and has a strange taste. It's made from some kind of Guarana syrup which is apparently sourced from the Amazon region and it's the Brazilian national drink. It is to them what Coca-Cola is to America - but it's definitely got more about it than Coca-Cola and I highly recommend giving it a try even though it is clearly not very good for you. Maybe that's why the Brazilians have such ample charms in the rear Department.”

“I had been going to the village for almost a year before I'd realized it's actually a great place to get sandwiches in addition to groceries - go to the deli counter and ask for a Funky Chicken, you won't regret it.”

“A small town corner store where you can find what you need on the way hom as ae from work and fill the tank quickly. Azlan the manager is on duty most hours and quick to make you smile. (Or a friendly ribbing if you are close to him like I am) Sit down and play a game of Keno or All or Nothing or just sit and watch the antics of the locals was they come through.”

“The lady at the counter is incredibly rude on the phone and has a really nasty attitude.Edit: 9/3/22: I stopped here for a drink yesterday and the young man behind the counter was incredibly nice and extremely customer service oriented. I have bumped my review up to 4 stars as I actually did have a good customer service interaction. They are not a bad store overall, it just depends who's working.”

“Talk about a diamond on the rough. The steaks, ground beef, and chicken are amazing. You just have to get past the fact your buying them at a gas station. If you can do that you will have found the best deli/ butcher in town. lol or maybe the only one in town. Prices are perfect. Never had the sandwiches but the meat quality is great. Hit or miss on the staff. Some are really friendly and others are .... well.... not. But I guess you have to remember it is a gas station general store. Keep up the good work.”

“Normal day at BIG Y. Paczki's are back for Easter. Being already in the box is foolish, for the most part. 3 of us standing around a small table looking at every label to find the ones we like. Wilbraham BIG Y has them also in the bakery, and you can order them as you like them.”

“Very happy this place exists, without it me and many others would be in even more hardship than we are now. The staff is always so friendly and just can't thank them all enough”

“Overall the store is always in good condition. Many years ago big y spent a lot of money training management and full time associates about how important contact with customers is. They should make this a priority again.”

“The staff was great! Was sent there to get a cookie tray, which I did, and ended up buying a dinner which I just cooked (all I had to do was replace the plastic cover with tin foil and heat for about an hour). The cookies were great and the turkey dinner was even better. I will for sure use it again. Lots of great food choices fresh and frozen. I will make my way through them! I highly recommend.”

“Big y has the freshest produce and meats in the local area. They have an in store butcher for your custom cut needs, as well as a small seafood dept alongside their deli. They've been a local staple for as long as I can remember. The weekly sales make for an affordable trip, and it's always a pleasant atmosphere. Add the friendly staff, and it's a must shop ?”

“Certainly much better than the competition but mostly geared toward the American diet despite the "world class" thing. If you want to whip up your own Indian food or Vietnamese you're going to have to shop somewhere else.”

“Closer to my home, competitive price, and great produce. It's in a great location along with other business that I usually visit. The deli department is my first stop, great deals on ham.”
