“I came here to get a last-minute dress for a wedding and I called ahead to see if there were dresses appropriate for a wedding and the woman I spoke to was friendly and honest, saying they didn't have much at the moment, and nothing floor-length, but that they did have some cocktail-type dresses. When I showed up to the store, we chatted about the nature of the wedding I was going to and she helped me pick some stuff. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection and chose five dresses to try on. I noticed mostly M-XL sizes, so if you're petite you might have a more limited selection, though I know these types of stores always have changing inventory. She even helped me unzip the dress while I was trying it on because I couldn't do it myself! One dress didn't look so great on me, and the other four I couldn't decide on, so I just BOUGHT THEM ALL! They were very decently priced, but also on sale, so the deal was so good I couldn't say no. Also got a cute cat bag which will be my carryon when I fly to the wedding. She helped look through all the shoes but the selection was small and nothing in my size really matched the dress styles. Anyway, a great little store and very friendly and helpful owner. Pleasant experience overall. I can't wait to wear it!”
“I decided to revisit Torrid at The Mall at Whitney Field. I'm on an amazing weight loss journey but still need larger sizes, and style.
Today, I let Sophie and Jolie ( i hope the names are right), tell me what fits, not just what covers me up. And they shopped with me. Paring pieces together that I was blown away seeing myself wearing. I looked like I am doing the work. I am seeing results. I saw my body today. Those employees were absolutely the support I needed. They are selfless in thier responsibility to self image.

“Honestly I love JCPenny in general. It’s always my top store to go shopping in back home, but I’m used to the Holyoke mall(if you know you know) this JCPenny is very unorganized I feel like and kind of disheveled. I feel kind of suffocated in this atmosphere and I don’t feel like their selection of clothes is 100% amazing. There’s room for growth in that aspect but I have found a few things when visiting so I can’t complain too much it was just hard to find stuff. Workers are extremely nice and good at their jobs and that’s what would keep me coming back. But another problem id also like to add is I never fricken know where to check out! Every time I come it’s different! The suffocating atmosphere and confusion makes me reluctant to come back because shopping is supposed to be relaxing but the customer service is there and everybody’s super nice.”
