“The team here are really fantastic. They actually ran out of cars and were getting yelled at left and right. Not sure why a busy location like Waltham is not supported better but corporate it was tough to watch them take the verbal abuse. They took it and I give them credit.”

“Mike got me set up with our rental car very quickly and efficiently. Bonus points for him being a cleaniness and neatness freak, I appreciate that! The gas tank was at 5/8, but he forewarned me about that, so NP there. The battery (the car was a PHEV hybrid Dodge Hornet) has zero charge, so it would have been nice if that had been charged beforehand.”

“Had a great experience at the Budget in Waltham, MA, on the morning of December 2, 2024. We rented a car in Montreal to drive back to Boston and ended up with a Jeep—not what we expected, and the gas mileage was rough.

When we dropped it off in Waltham, the woman working there (wish I got her name!) was awesome. She explained that since it was an international rental, we’d have to call the 800 number for most issues, but she still went out of her way to see if she could help. She managed to get us a discount to make up for the crazy gas costs, which we really appreciated.

She didn’t promise anything but totally delivered and was so kind and understanding the whole time. A small gesture like that made a big difference. Thanks for the great service!”

“I have only used Zipcar three times but all three of those times I had little to no issue and the small issue I had was promptly resolved. The issues I have/had are1. There aren't any cars in Torrance where I live. I have to Uber to the car which is either in el Segundo or lax. Which whatever that's not that big of a deal. I have more of an issue with Ubers prices being so high but that's beside the point. 2. I was charged a late fee of $50. I was at the location at the correct time. I was waiting in the car for my Uber because it was pouring rain and I would have been soaked. My Uber showed up 6 minutes after my drop off time. I called customer service and easily got someone on the phone. The lady was extremely nice and removed the fee after I explained to her the situation. So all good.I like Zipcar. The prices are affordable, cars have been clean with the exception of one that smelled like smoke but it wasn't that bad and that's not Zipcars fault that's on the dip s**t that smoked in it. The gas is covered which is awesome!! I actually got a Toyota Tacoma last time and it was NICE!! I honestly don't know what everyone is complaining about because the Zipcar I use is awesome and convenient ish. So Zipcar if you're reading this maybe have some cars in Torrance but if that's not an option fine. Keep up the good work!!!”
